F'd up neighbor?

I have been living in a great apt for 3 years. The landlords son (curly) moved into the 3rd floor a few months ago. His music while annoying doesnt bother me. I had some friends come over a few weeks ago and Curly was working on the house. A few weeks later I saw him and he asked me how my friends were and asked specific questions about the conversation we were having that he isnt involved in. SO two weeks later, I went outside to smoke a cigarrete and out comes curly. He was drunk but so was I and he tells me how great our last conversation was - which he wasnt incolved in. SO tonight around 11pm. I hear this ****** calling out mu name outside the window and 5 minutes later banging on the door. I ignored it and shut off all the lights.
Will this prick stop banging on my door by my ignoring him or whould I tell him to f off? I

It seems that people here have little or no respect that we live so close together.

The people two houses down from me apparently feel that they cannot hear each other if they aren't screaming. And this is their normal voice. I can hear nearly every word she says if she's in the yard, and that is when I'm in my house.
There is a family down the street that spends most of their time IN the street. Literally. I came home the other day and had to swerve to avoid various shoes and a purse in the middle of the road. Most often, their favorite things to do is stand in the middle of the street in front of my house and generally make noise or just standing there. They don’t move when traffic comes either.
There are constantly kids in my yard. Often they are friends of my stepson, but they stand out there and tear stuff up or just generally make noise. This is regardless of whether he is here or not.

What do I do until we find a new home to purchase, that isn’t in this neighborhood?

I have never heard that before or my family and friends who where with us. Could it be maybe just in that friends family or is it really a tradition.

I was on a bicycle after class and this woman hit me with her van, sending me to the hospital with a broken collar bone and a torn ACL in my left knee. She never tried to find out if I was o.k. and no attorneys won't take my case. Is it a bad idea to write to this woman and simply ask her if she even cares that she could have killed me?

I have a coworker who is always asking to borrow money. It seems that I'm not the only one he has asked. I've learned that he borrows without any intention of paying you back. How do you think I should deal with a person like this? I don't want to be rude, by I don't want to be taken advantage of either.
