I slap them and say "That's for making my immune system work harder!"

I'd jump back, and give them the dirtiest look. Unless they apologize, I will continue to play mind games with them, like sneezing on them off the top of my head. And I wouldn't count this towards being a germaphobe though, it's perfectly reasonable to get a little offended.

Augh! There was a girl today in the bathroom stall, and she coughed about 20 times without covering her mouth in the stall next to me. I'm a wuss! I heald my breath as much as I could, but really I shlould have said something, but she sounded miserably sick, and it just didn't feel right to say anything at the time because she wasn't doing it to hurt anyone. All she was concerned with was getting the tickle gone from her throat. Poor thing. I really should have said something though. Just... "Would you cover that up so I don't catch it too?" or something. We don't have to beat aroud the bush for these things. Just say what's on your mind. If someone takes what you said to heart, and takes offense to it... not my problem. I don't control others feelings.

Distance myself as quickly as I can.

Just a few days ago I was in the grocery store and waiting patiently behind a man at the apple bin. All of a sudden he started sneezing multiple times. didn't cover his nose and mouth, and didn't even turn his head away from the fruit. Needless to say, I went home with no apples. I think in the future I'll buy all my fruits and veggies in prepackaged plastic bags..........

I would give them a tissue and tell them next time to cover their mouth and have some respect for the well people.

I always say something to them about it, it may be rude but so is sneezing/coughing w/o covering your mouth!

Tell them it's rude. If they hear it often enough, hopefully the light bulb will go off in their tiny brains and they will develop some manners and consideration for others.

Ok, there's 2 things i do...depending on whether i'm in a store, theater.....shopping, etc....or if I'm in like church or at a friend's house...
1.Public-----i walk right up to the person....like the palm of my hand and rub it on their shirt.......and say 'we're even'
2.I close my eyes...and run to the Germ-X and clean my face and arms and hands....EWWWWWWWW

Give them your hankey. And tell them not to repeat it. and also tell them to cover their mouth with that hankey before sneezing next time. And say Good Bye.

Look fully disgusted, pull a tissue out of your pocket and start wiping yourself off (even if they didn't get any on you). They'll get the point.

It's too late to do much of anything after the fact, you might just ask them if they give towels with their showers
