Is wasting electricity a sign of prosperity? Does it symbolize I-don't-care attitude? Are you turned on by such people?

Does anybody get a mailbox full of emails saying you have won the European Lottery, or you have to claim some really large amount of money. Or how about the one where you are needed to help this person get money from a deceased persons account cause all the family died in a plane crash, and the like. All from everywhere but America. If so how can I stop them, I have my spam setting on high but everyday and all through the day I am getting this garbage in my regular email and in my bulk mail. How can I stop this ??????????

I would like the saint to have lost a parent as well, and be canonized, not pending. And, if possible, to be able to buy a pendant with them one it. They have to represent the death of a father, the wanting to remember the father, and if possible to help me as I try and find a cure for the disease that killed him. Thanx

My neighbors just lost their house and came back to pack everything and move it and they have no electricity and no food. They did not ask me for meals but I know they need it. Is it rude or would it be ok to ask people to bring in a meal or two? Thanks!

Okay, so let me start. :)
The other day this Mormon kid started bashing me for being Catholic. He kept saying that all other religions were a bunch of damn lies and Mormon was the best lol.
Look, I know that there HAS to be nice Mormons who are openminded and are respectful to other religions. I won't let one ignorant person ruin my impression of them. I would never stereotype anyone based on their relilgion!

Does anyone know any good sources? I can't find anything on the web but a bunch of religion bashers. I know there's a lot to this religion, but if anyone can help me that would be great. I don't know much, but so far I know that Joseph Smith added on to the bible..? I would really like to become more diverse on my knowledge of religions.

Thanks you guys! : ))))

Even if you have suffered, or appeared to have suffered, has your spiritual unfolding felt as if you were always protected by soul guides, or angelic guides, or the presence of god, and have you always had this awareness?

and other crimes of states against people trying to justify the times their church and religion has directly killed millions. On later examination though, you always find the leaders of these countries are guided by the priesthood itself, such as Stalin who was guided by a Jesuit priest..

Also in almost every former communist country, or other form of dictatorship the priests it comes out years later were working directly with the totalitarian governments at the time, and leading their very own flock to the slaughter.

My question is when will Christians ever admit to the truth about what your religion and the papacy that has ran it for the last 2000 years has been responsible for?

This is the first year in a long time that I've had my own place to decorate. The problem is that it isn't just my place, I have a roommate. A couple weeks ago we talked about getting a Christmas tree, and agreed to find a cheap one and share the cost (should be like 10 bucks each). My mom even bought me decorations for it. This eveing, my roommate informs me that she has "bad news about the tree". She doesn't feel like she should help buy it, because her parent's have saved all this money for her for school(we're in college), and it's their money, not hers, so she can't help me buy one. She's kinda been against decorating the place from the beginning, and we've used all of my stuff that I had gotten a long time ago, so I really feel this is just her way of getting out of having a tree. Needless to say I'm a littel mad, and don't really have the money to buy the tree and lights for it....so do I find a way to get that money, or just go without the tree?

How do you know God is/was a he? Everyone seems so hellbent on calling your God a he. What if God is/was a she? But then how do you know God is/was even a she? Would that make God an it? What is God to you? How do you know/think that God is what you think it is?

Is there such a thing as unforgiveable sin?

I have never understood what is meant by this term.

It seems to be to run counter to everthing in the New Testament. There is nothing that you could have done in your past that God will not totally forgive as long as you

1) honestly and truly repent.
2) seek God's forgiveness
2) have faith in Jesus Christ

So, is there any sin that cannot be forgiven and forgotten even when you have done these three things?

What is unforgivable sin?

So my sister created a few business cards for the three of us (all sisters) a few years back, and apparently created an email address that didn't go on there. The handle is something like "smithsisters." To me the handle implies all 3 of us are in on this email account, that it's used or could be used for the business card deal, and that we should've been notified that she was creating an account handle like this.

She says she only sends stuff to herself and that this was the first time she'd sent anywhere else (she forwarded something to me today, which is how I found out about it). I believe her but I still think she should've asked us first, as it's like it's got our names on it as well. Am I making a mountain out of a mole hill or am I right to feel a bit irked?

I mean, what are the criteria for someone to be chosen to get knighted? It seems rather random that someone like Mick Jagger gets knighted. What did he ever do for the sake of the community? Is doing good to the community actually a criteria to get knighted?

Yeah, for $10 an hour. You get to work in the ER, chase different doctors around and document the stuff they tell you to write down. However, while you are being trained, you must put up with disrespect from the trainer, stress from other people who seem to think they are bigger than you etc. The trainers don't agree about specifics themselves so everytime you show up to get trained, you won't know what to expect. You get yelled at if you make a compliment to a staff member. You are asked if you are deaf, hard of hearing, mentally ill and everything else within these lines. You are stared at in a weird way, your mistakes are brought out to light right in front of everyone yet if it's something personal against you, they take you out the hall where all the family can hear. Is it worth keeping? Is it worth it for $10 an hour and experience? What would you do?

I recently met an old college buddy from Iran. He stated that their are many jews living in their country and they get along with their neighbors in the cities they live in. And even some government officials actually give proyection to them. Is all we hear from the media true about these relations for the negative, or could this coexisteance be possible. Just wondering.
