If works don't matter, then why is it such a big deal to have to oppose the gay movement, sexuality, and other liberal trends?

If you're not going to be condemned for their sins, and they're not going to be condemned for their sins (but rather their unbelief, if such is the case), then what motivation is there to have such a strong voice against these things?

As a side note, I also believe these things are contrary to God's will, but I recognize and celebrate my counterparts' freedom to engage in them, even though I believe their works may have consequences. Thoughts?

When it comes to religion, politics, etc. do you fight people with different opinions? Or do you just let them speak, then express your side afterwards?

One of my best friends stopped talking to me recently because she had a different opinion in religion and politics. She implied in our last talk that she couldn't tolerate it anynmore. Opinions?

"Henceforth all generations shall call me blessed"
Do you remember how when you were a child you were sometimes embarassed by your mother?
Why do Protestants seem to be embarssed no almost ashamed to accept Christ's mother as their own? "Woman behold thy son, son behold they mother." His recommendation of her to us.
Peace Be With You,

For our questioning? Or for your answering?

If you are considering an answer for what purpose do you give it?

When you create a question, why do you ask it?

I am after the very root of it… the place of its origin that exists with you. Or does it exist without you?

and going back to the term " Merry Christmas" in much of their advertising?
I realise that most people who use the term Happy Holidays are doing it innocently, but there has gotten to be such a culture was the past few years about trying to remove Christ, and even the word on Christmas that I have started looking at the term "happy holidays" with saddness even though I know that there was no ill intention by most who use it.
I'm glad to see the turn around this year.

One Christmas eve, many moons ago, I caught a taxi back from the bank, my husband had died a few weeks before (36) and my daughters were both under 5, I asked the bank for an over draught because life was falling apart, mortgage etc, they refused. For some reason (probably because I was so upset) I told the cabbie everything. The next morning at about 7am we heard a handbell and looked out of the window. The taxi driver had dressed as Santa and brought us food, toys and a little cash. How wonderful was that?
Now that's Christmas spirit :-)
