"Your guardian angel must have been working overtime" or "God must have been watching over you." or something along that line concerning my accident that blew out my eye.

It drives me insane! How can they dare to belittle my body's resilience?

Excerpt:

South Wales police admitted evangelical Christian Stephen Green was then charged purely because his pamphlets contained anti-gay quotations from the Bible.

Mr Green faces a court appearance today charged with using 'threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour' after his attempt to distribute the leaflets at the weekend 'Mardi Gras' event in Cardiff.

A spokesman for the police said the campaigner had not behaved in a violent or aggressive manner, but that officers arrested him because 'the leaflet contained Biblical quotes about homosexuality'.

Our new Hate Crimes bill uses verbage that includes the word perceived which is a slippery slope. I personally think gays should be afforded civil unions, however if my fellow brethren would like to have free speech about this matter, they most certainly should be able to safely and legally. Thoughts? US soon?

The patriarch Jacob had an encounter with God
Gen 28:13 And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;

Jacob even made a prayer......Gen 28:20-21 And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on, So that I come again to my father's house in peace; then shall the LORD be my God

Q1) DO YOU THINK JACOB WAS SAVED/JUSTIFIED IN GENESIS 28?

Q2) IF NOT, WHEN WAS HE JUSTIFIED??

Have we ever considered that we may be professing Christians for year, had encounters with God like Abraham and Jacob..................but when exactly are we justified with true saving faith???

Many are called, few chosen..............and alas, all of us presumed we are chosen, don't we...? Have we made our calling and election sure?

The patriarch Abraham exercised faith in Gen12.
In Heb 11:8-9 said that Abraham exercised faith.............

Heb 11:8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
Heb 11:9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:

Gay guys are typically, stereotype or not, effiminate. I do realize that there masculine gay guys as well, but a whole bunch of them are naturally effiminate. I bet you can't find a straight guy who naturally would shriek like a woman and wave their hands ever so girlishly as they say, "FABULOUS", like you commonly see among gay guys. (No offense v^^v)

Now the question is, how about bi-sexual men? Are they just like normal straight guys (in general)? Since bi-men also want to attract women, I'm kinda under the impression that bi-men would be rather masculine. But I honestly don't know cause I've never met one. Are there bi-men out there who naturally act out as effiminate as gay guys do? I'm not being judgemental in anyway and genuenly want to know. I'm personally attracted to masuline men, but I've not had the luck of meeting a masculine gay guy. So I'm considering bi-sexual men instead. But if bi-sexual men are also effeminate, I would be wasting my time so.....

im trying to figure out what kind of category i would fit in religiously...i guess ive kinda made up my own belief system....in a nutshell, i believe that we choose our life (lives)...we determine what happens, consciously or not, by putting the idea out into the universe (i suppose it's similar to praying...)..we are our own creators.....each person, animal, plant, bug- everything!! are just balls of energy and we're all connected....i think we can get in touch with that connection and that's how we begin to understand our place in the universe.....everything around me is a part of me and i a part of everything else...

i believe that the bible is a book of stories, literature....jesus was a normal man who had the guts to love all people....god (or the idea of a deity) is a created object for people to hide behind b/c they're too afraid to be individuals (part of human nature, i suppose, to go with the crowd)....that's just a bit of my crazy thinking....

am i atheist? agnostic?

I would enjoy musing all day about how life was so much better when we were kids . . . I read just now that children have an average of £1,720 worth of toys !! . . . what happened to imagination, a cardboard box, a tree to climb (and fall out of), a den to build, cuts to the elbows and knees to be proud of, and a good old fashioned family Sunday lunch.

if you are prepared to judge the atheists.....are you prepared to review the beam in your own eyes?

Do you know that the rapture theory is a theory? It is a false teaching, propagated to destroy faith?

if rapture theory is true:
1) How can there be another way to salvation for the Jews, through animal sacrifices at the re-built Temple? (NB: The Temple will never be re-built)

2) If the Holy Spirit is taken away, how can there be anyone be converted as described 2 Thess ch2??

3) Can you not see that the rapture theory is but another gospel, preaching another Jesus and had another spirit(s)? Do you really know the source and origin of it??

What does it signify?

I was kinda racist when I was young because I just believed everything people and the media told me. When I became a teen I took in my own views such as shut out religion, explore over what is shown, and much more. I'm now open to people of other races and I support interracial love.

The thing is... I kind of doubt my friendship with people of another race... I'm scared what I was told will be true. I was told that people of other races only care for their own kind and would use or betray me. I was told to be less fair to other races... I don't want this! How do I overcome this fear or doubt?

Thank you for reading.
