The rapture is not a theory, it is a fact. The problem with it is that people have the timing all wrong. We have been studying this issue in Sunday School lately, and after a thorough study it is clear that the rapture is probably not going to be before the tribulation. The Bible seems to indicate that Jesus will not be returning until somewhere near the end of the second half of the seven years' tribulation. Study out the phrase "the day of the Lord" in your Bible, old and new testament, and see what you find. People want to think that the rapture is pre-trib because "God won't let His people suffer like that", completely ignoring the fact that even today Christians are suffering horribly in other countries, and also the fact that God did not even spare Jesus from suffering even though He didn't deserve it. Christians today in North America are soft and weak and hate the thought of suffering for our faith, so we hold to the pre-trib theory to comfort ourselves. But it isn't accurate. Study it out! And yes, apparently the origin of this theory was a girl named Mary MacDonald who saw visions in the 1800s.
As for your idea that the Temple won't be rebuilt, I'm not sure where that fits into the rest of your post. I do know that the Temple will be rebuilt and the antichrist will reinstate the old testament sacrifices. That does not mean, however, that the Jews will be saved by those sacrifices - they never were and never will be. Read Hebrews. They were saved by faith, just like we are, the difference was that they looked forward to the coming of the Messiah while we look backwards and see that He has already come.

I'll leave the judging to G-d (I'm making the assumption he exists as my belief allows me to do).
The salvation of the Jews comes when Yeshua (Jesus) reveals himself and the Jews see their salvation much like Isaac when he reveals himself to his brothers after they turned on him and sold him into slavery.
I don't believe the Holy Spirit is taken away, but it comes and goes from us depending on how we live our lives.
The origin of the rapture theory started in the 70's by Theologians of the time. Do I believe in the rapture? Yes, just because it was discovered in the last 30 years doesn't make it untrue.
Good series of questions though, I give you a "Star".

The rapture theory is was created by a mentally disturbed woman named Margaret McDonald. There is no Rapture anywhere in the Bible. We are continually told to remain in the field working till the true Christ comes. To not be taken away by false doctrines.

I believe the rapture theory is not Biblically sound, nor is the entire dispensationalist dogma. But I will not say that rapture believing Christians are not saved. It's not a core issue for me.
And since when do I get to "judge" atheists? The Bible tells us we will judge angels, not each other.

Actually, to be quite technical, a "theory" is a man-made concept that attempts to explain an aspect of the world after accumulated evidence has suggested as much.
What you call the rapture "theory" is not a theory of man, it's a plan of God.
Big difference...

balaam's a s s has spoken,..for with what judgement we judge we shall be judged,..judge righteously or keep studying,..
the pre-tribbers are who you are typing about,..they like the latin,..
we of the messianic zionist movement refer to the Gathering,..the pre-tribbers are capitalists, selling all their pre-trib paraphernalia which we liken unto evolutionist theorhetics,..
we are not here to save any one, that is the work of the Holy Ghost, we just speak of Christ Yeshua the Messiah and you make your own choice, accept or reject, point blank, in your face, black and white, no holds barred, because we have not yet resisted unto blood,..we will stand fast in our proclamation of salvation and redemption through Jesus Christ of Nazareth, our Lord, Messiah, King, who shall be glorified and exalted either willingly now or when you bow at the end and confess on YHWH terms,..
it is quite unfortunate that all the biblical names of GOD throws off the world, but we know whom we have believed,..
grab 'em now and check your next move,..
we bless those that curse us,..
occupy till He comes,..and check your beam before we speak or type,..

Yes. Many christians do look at themselves before they look at others. There are also christians that do not judge, and instead leave that to god.
Nice try, though.
