As I understand "God" as told to me by everyone...
God is "against" violence...
Which sounds a little fishy...considering he drowned everybody but Noah and his family...and scattered everybody to the four "corners" of the globe, and befuddled them all by making them all speak different languages...not to mention turning people into pillars of salt, letting his own kid be nailed to a coupla' 4x4's, torturing Jobe, letting Jonah be swallowed by a whale (that couldn't have been pleasant) and making it so Moses had to lead his barefoot people across the bottom of the Red sea after parting it...(the fish bones and gravelly bottom of the Red Sea musta' hurt their feet some...
