I have never really had fireworks for an event I have been involved in, apart from the guy fawkes day we have in NZ, which was kind of fun.

I kind of don't like fireworks as the colors are produced by igniting metals that end up as pollutants.

Depends on how responsible I am feeling I guess...

We did it once during last year's Christmas party in the office but only because a client gave us complimentary fireworks to do it. It was a highlight of the party and it was simply beautiful.

New Years in Hawaii!
You can't see across the street when the midnight hour comes. It's soooo awsome!
Families will spend hundreds of dollars on fireworks.
Burning $$$$ is an old tradition here.

here in Japan we celebrate O-bon festival end of august to honor our ancestors,its real great having fireworks in summer

when i was a kid my neighbor would get m-300 =1/2 a stick of dynamite the bang was earth shaking.

yes we celebrate Diwali with fire works. it is purely a firework festival. besides this on Dushera a lot of fire work is done. there is also fashion of fire works during a marriage.
