If you just like the pageantry and the costumes, there's the Society of Creative Anachronism (SCA) which has chapters everywhere. http://www.sca.org/

If you want the "hard-core" grinding grain with rocks/planting crops with sticks and oxen/cooking food without seasoning over a fire you made with flint/pounding your one set of clothes on the rocks of a stream/relieving yourself in a cess pit/etc., those do exist as well, but usually as part of living history exhibits in Europe. http://moas.atlantia.sca.org/topics/groups.htm

I have not heard of an actual re-creationist group that does it 24-7 but there are certainly groups like the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) who learn medieval skills and even get together for "wars"... There are groups in Britain as well who actually have real jousts and re-enact many aspects of Medieval life but I do not know of anyone who has created a whole community as you describe. It might be a good idea as a kind of resort-vacation concept... Email me if you want to discuss it further.
