Does anybody get a mailbox full of emails saying you have won the European Lottery, or you have to claim some really large amount of money. Or how about the one where you are needed to help this person get money from a deceased persons account cause all the family died in a plane crash, and the like. All from everywhere but America. If so how can I stop them, I have my spam setting on high but everyday and all through the day I am getting this garbage in my regular email and in my bulk mail. How can I stop this ??????????

You can't stop it altogether -- once your email address is gleaned, it gets sold again and again to companies and individuals looking to reach you with scams. If your email address appears on a discussion group, or is part of a message that's been forwarded again and again, it's going to get picked up by the you've-won-the-lottery spammers.

If anyone who you correspond with online has spyware on his or her computer, your email is also gleaned. Make sure your own computer has excellent spyware-fighting software, and talk to your ISP about what spam-blocking software it uses.

Hi Peaches,
I'm not an expert in this matter by any means, but you might try changing your email address and then be very careful who you share it with.
Only people you personally want contact with. Don't post it around where everybody can have access to it.
May peace be with you.

I get those all the times, they are so annoying!!! Usually they end up in my bulk folder, but it seem nearly impossible to stop them all together.
