That's difficult to imagine since the things that exist in the universe depend on an uncaused cause for their existence, and that uncaused cause must be outside of nature (i.e. supernatural) or else the universe simply doesn't make logical sense.

I can't imagine a universe in which God didn't exists. And since all bets would be off in terms of what life would be like, it's impossible to speculate if the universe would be better or worse. I think it would just "be" and that's neither better nor worse. It just is.
