Think about it. If you believe that He created us, and that He is omniscient (knows everything), then He would have known beforehand that His creation would disappoint him. He would have even known in what ways man would do so.

So why bother creating anything less than a perfect being?

And why be so angry about it?

I eat ranch dressing with a lot of foods, especially as a dipping sauce. Whenever I order a salad I usually have to ask for an extra side of dressing because they never give you enough. Do you feel there should be a charge for the extra side of dipping sauces, or should it be free?

Then why was there so much killing and violence before Moses recieved the Oral Law (Ten Commandments) what happened that made Man and Nature become so turbulent andf violent?

Why did the Egyptians keep the Jews in Captivity? there was much more violence in the world, than we have ever had since the Holy Bible was written..Was man and nature intended to reek havoc as products of evolution? or maybe somewhere in time the Perfection of the world went astray because SIN entered in?
Can you explain that?

I'm a christian I ask God to fill me with his love and help me to forgive people who are hard for me to forgive and I do it by faith not by my feelings. The more I do it the better my life gets.

Is it okay to pray for a sick loved one - or would you be asking God to change whatever plan he has for them?
Is it okay to pray for your football team to win?
How about praying to win the lottery? Is that too frivilous a request? Or is any request a good one?

Remember what it was like to go to one? Do you know that they are still around? I took my grandson to one last summer and he loved it. He wants to keep going. He thought that it was such a great idea to be able to watch a movie on a big screen and that you could watch while sitting in your car, relaxed. I wasn't too fond of the 40 mile drive each way, but, we will be going again next summer.

i've read that angels say what they've been told to say, and the whole reason satan fell from grace was he chose his words and rebelled. so, do angels completely lack free thought? or they just obey.

i would prefer answers from believers as opposed to the generic statements of angels not exsisting

Why can't I use my free will to choose my own punishment?

Thanks!

A neighbor of mine has been away in a nursing home because she became too weak from Cancer Treatments.
Her name is Mrs. Soucy. She is Catholic. But will all of you pray for her for a long time? The place she is in has a bad reputation. And her daughter was by resently, doubful if she will get her strenth back. Hopefully we can pray enough to get her strong and home again.

.....happenings AND never have changed that application of that date to the amazing prophecy of Christ at Matthew 24 :3-12,14 for over 100 years, :

***The New York World of August 30, 1914, explains: “The terrific war outbreak in Europe has fulfilled an extraordinary prophecy. For a quarter of a century past, through preachers and through press, the ‘International Bible Students’ [Jehovah’s Witnesses] . . . have been proclaiming to the world that the Day of Wrath prophesied in the Bible would dawn in 1914. ‘Look out for 1914!’ has been the cry of the . . . evangelists.”29

--AND IN OUR TIME IS STILL considered UNIQUE:

“In 1914 the world lost a coherence which it has not managed to recapture since. . . . This has been a time of extraordinary disorder and violence, both across national frontiers and within them.”—The Economist, London, August 4, 1979.

“Civilization entered on a cruel and perhaps terminal illness in 1914.-Frank Peters, St.Louis Post Dispatch,Jan. 27,1980!

Moses had been around the block a few times. He was not a young man. He had heard, of course, of many floods in the past. Floods happen all the time.

So maybe he put all that stuff about man's sins in there to use fear to control his followers as they crossed the desert. Forty years is a long time and people would naturally get restless.

Did Moses seek infamy and control by writing Genesis?

I mean look at him all these years later, he is certainly well known.

Just think how his followers idolized him after he came up with an explanation for the creation of the earth and man.

why did jesus have to be put on a cross to die.
why could he not have just taken some poisen or found some other less dramatic way to go?

why did he need to be accused of being a criminal to be put to death by the romans. most martyrs just kill themselves, or go into a deadly situation to die.

I am 19, and I am a firm Christian but, I have been reading about weird stuff called 'Alchemy' then there is the whole witchcraft senerio. I don't put it into practice but it is just fun to read. It has a bunch of weird things in there that just make me laugh. So basicly I "study" it just for laughs. Is this wrong for a Christian to be doing?
