On the pta minutes it is noted incorrectly that I will be purchasing soup I actually spoke to the minutes sec and told her that I was not. Also last month we held a table top sale it went ok but we decided to change the name to indoor boot sale as again according to this person it sounds much classier.I personally don't think so boot sales make me think of other peoples un wanted items. There really was no need for her to write this comment.but she seems to insist on putting her own little comments in I think it is wrong of her to do so.

"Evil does not exist, sir, or at least it does
not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that comes
when there is no heat, or the darkness that comes when there is no light."

The bible is old and outdated, it is in dire need of updating. God needs to get his act together and release a new version of the bible on Blu-Ray or something like that...

Have you considered a person here from seniors to be the recipient? Please do as we have many friends in need this season.
Please don't forget the rejects and outlaws of this world. Sometimes the most rejected are the sweetest and most deserving of all.

Here is the story. - http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071128/ap_o... I asked a question about it yesterday and the consensus seemed to be that I shouldn't lump all Xians together. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071128/ap_o... Now if that is so, why aren't more(or any that I've seen) Xian leaders distance themselves from his statement. If you don't want we atheists to lump you all together, wouldn't it make sense to make a public statement disavowing these remarks?

Or would he have a different profession?

Tele-sales maybe? He could bang out a few miracles there I bet? How about a doctor? He could go private and make a fortune with those healing hands (naturally all profits would be donated to Leigh Cats & Dogs Home).

What profession do you think Jesus would have if he were alive today and why?

Why? It is a ligitimate question is it not?
Question:
I once knew a person who spoke 4 languages, earned a Masters, started her own business and was on the verge of
becoming very wealthy. Suddenly she died. Since Christians believe that when the soul goes to heaven, it does not carry the brain's IQ, talents or other things learned while on earth, was her time here meaningless? Also, without the developed brain power in the soul, what do you have to offer your God and what need will he have of you?

We all know that everyone is born into sin by nature.....because of the fall of mankind in Eden.

There is no Scripture & verse per say concerning an age of accountability but.........would you agree that God is merciful enough to save a child who has died.....either by abortion or by some other natural cause?

And does this age of accountability change depending on the upbringing of the child? (i.e. a child born into a Christian family as opposed to a non-believing family)

Thanks,

Primo

[Caveat: Please people - it says to the Muslims. Ergo, I would like to hear their internal perspectives - not what others have to say about them.]

A lot of blood and ink has been spilled over the status of your beliefs. I believe the major contention is over the claim that Islam is a religion of peace. Unfortuantely the questions are worded in a way to create a rather nasty atmosphere a la an interrogation - and the answers given usually point out the flaws of the "interrogators" beliefs much less than answering the question.

So here i am, a simple Buddhist, come to ask about Islam. I carry no Abrahamic baggage nor the disdain of an aggressive atheist. My knowledge of Islam is tiny, as the only folks i've had sustained contact with are Sufis - who definatly not your average Muslim (or person for that matter - i do genuinely love them).

My question is simple - there are certain disturbing passages of violence in your holy book. How are we non-muslims to understand them?

Anything and everywhere, from toes to hair....

eg .. I know there is a man who loves to suck his partner's toes !! Each to their own !! But this question is addressed to MEN.. (There is this very question I asked from women only.) :)

I'm 18 and have never even had a real boyfriend yet, but as soon as I get one.. I cannot wait to caress and kiss my love's NECK !!! It is usually the other way round.. men loving to kiss women's neck, but here.. I am surely gonna do that !! No other part attracts me as much !! ..at least yet...

What about you gentlemen ??? Are you also attracted to your partner's neck ?? Is it still like that nowadays ?? Or WHAT PART of your lady are you attracted to for caressing ???

I just got an email from a friend at work. It urged me to pray in Jesus' name. This friend is a sweet person and she sent it to me just because we're friends. She also sent it to a Jewish co-worker. So I replied "I'm not Christian, but thanks anyway" and copied out Jewish friend. It wasn't my intent to make her feel bad or anything, but I really don't want a big mess of Jesus emails either. Do you think I was too harsh?

Based on the art shown of Mary at Jesus crucifixation, seems like that she had to be about 12 years old at the time she gave birth to Jesus.
Does that make God a child molester if true?

Is being called a "Christian" by a non-Christion offensive? Recently, a non-Jew asked if calling a Jew "a Jew" was offensive... it's not offensive. If anything, it's a compliment.
