I think this actually has two answers... :)
No but if you aren't going to update it, it should be translated again from the ORIGINAL texts so that "more" of the true text could come through.
Or...
Yes, it should be translated again using what we now know as historical truths to enhance and update the text. :)

actually the unique Books that have been in question whilst the Bible became into first being compiled have been in no way lined interior the 1st place. there have been some Books which the early Church Fathers have been reluctant to no longer lined interior the Bible (like the e book of Enoch), yet interior the tip the entire Church desperate what could be interior the Bible. over the years there has been Books that are interior the Bible that have been below question with the aid of fact of canonical conflicts or authenticity, yet they in no way have been actually got rid of. that's till ultimately Protestantism got here alongside and got rid of Books interior the previous testomony which they seen as Apocrypha with the aid of fact those Books have been written initially in Greek, no longer in Aramaic or Hebrew. yet whilst they executed there historic previous they might have found out that there have been Hellenistic Jews (Greek Jews). and valuable the dates do no longer experience whilst the thoughts got here approximately, yet that did no longer count to the early Christians. Over the path of time the Bible itself have been as much as date with translations, and at the instant you will stumble on Protestant Bibles that have been modernized for at the instant's society. Now in the event that they went approximately and changed the Bible to make it extra handy to their doctrines properly enable's only say their Bible might no longer be seen as a Christian Bible. so as to be a Christian you need to have faith in particular policies, if those policies are replaced properly it is going to become some thing different than Christian.

why would you want it changed so it will fit the life style of the world today?
well the Bible is a book that will never be outdated. its the only Book that tells you what happen before you was born and tell you what will happen after you leave this world.
God is the same yesterday today and forever. So is His word..no need to change it. If God feels a need to rewrite the Bible He inspire someone to do so but its not up to us to tell God anything . He tells us we listen thats it..

It would seem that Zoroastrianism has been updated. So now it looks like a face-lifted religion. Fortunately, the truth does not need a face-lift. So no, the Bible is just fine the way it is.

NO. The word is the word. If you can't understand it, it's because you're a product of the government institution know as the public school system. It's not the bible that is at fault, it's the reader.

Have you ever really read the bible? I think not......maybe you should.
The apostle Paul wrote: "When you received God's word, which you heard from us, you accepted it, not as the word of men, but, just as it truthfully is, as the word of God."—1 Thessalonians 2:13.

Nope, the bible doesn't need updating, society needs to pay more attention to it, and live more like it says.

God's word is unchanging. You may change, nations may change, but God and his word will stand, always. You might as well get used to it.
