Is being called a "Christian" by a non-Christion offensive? Recently, a non-Jew asked if calling a Jew "a Jew" was offensive... it's not offensive. If anything, it's a compliment.

Apparently, some Christians avoid calling Jews "Jews" and timidly use the expression "Jewish people", instead.

Good question!
Calling a Jewish person a "Jew" per isn't offensive...however calling someone a "Jew boy", or "dirty Jew" is very offensive.
Like most words, its the context of how its being used.
(Yes, I am a Jew)

Christianity is the most responsible for the idea that having a mistake pointed out makes the whole person bad (a "sinner"). They have a hard time separating the action from the person. Unfortunately, due to Christian influence in the West, much of the Westen world is saturated with this idea. The Judaic tradition does not have this concept. Example:
I once saw a Jewish man playing chess with his Christian friend. The Jewish gentleman said, upon a move from his friend, "that was a stupid move". I spoke with him a few weeks later, and he said his friend had not been around since. When he finally got to ask why, the Christian said "You called me stupid". Of course, the Jewish gentleman was shocked, and replied "I said the move was stupid. If I thought you were stupid, I would not have played chess with you in the first place."

well, seems the folks who worship the Bible god are easily offended. Christians get indignant if you don't buy into their propaganda. Muslims get offended if you joke about their prophet and ya can't disagree with a "Jewish Person" without being accused of anti-Semitism. **shrug** i don't care anymore if these thin skinned worshipers of the Bible god get their collective boxers in a wad. their constant need to feel slighted is just a manipulation tool.

Because most are not real Christian, others are ashamed of the crimes that their false religions do to so many innocent people.
Burning women as witches because they spoke the true Word of God.
Drove families from their homes because they spoke the true Word of God.
Stop true children of God from worshiping YHWH because the shameful sores these loving christian continually do to innocent people in the name of their religions.
God said come of her my people lest you partake of her sins.
I do not know the likes of such people.
