Oh yes and when he visited Kilmarnock he came into my chip shop and tried a deep fried one and He loved it. His mate Allah asked if it was hallal, but alas, no, so he did not try one.

after 40 days and 40 nights without food i would eat anything even mars bars so the same rule probably applies

Mars bars didn't exist back then. Perhaps you can fly back with the time machine and build a Mars Bar company for him and give him a free box or something.

He didn't have Mars Bars growing up. I'm pretty sure that if there were any treats around, He would have enjoyed them.
