Greater is He that is in me, than he who is in the world!

I know my Fathers voice for one thing and for another if what I hear is telling me to jump off of a bridge I'll definitely know it's an impostor.
Back in 1990 while driving over an overpass I heard a voice tell me to get in the other lane facing oncoming traffic.
It didn't make any sense to me but I felt beyond a shadow of a doubt that it was the right thing to do so I did what I was told and I crossed over the line dividing the lanes.
At the bottom of the Austen overpass a drunk driver with her kids in the car was turning onto the overpass from my right and was adjusting her stereo and not paying attention to her driving.
If I had stayed in my lane I would have broad sided her car at about 55 miles an hour killing everyone in the car including her innocent children.
But because I got in the other lane I hit her head on at about 40 miles an hour because I immediately slowed down when I changed lanes and because of this the front of her car was badly damaged but everyone was alright.
Back then cars were still made out of metal so they held up pretty well in a front end collision.
That was the first time I heard Gods voice back in 1990 when because of Him a drunk driver and her kids lived instead of becoming just another statistic.
God is so wonderful!

That's a good question. I see a lot of people saying that you can tell the difference because God only tells you to do good things while the Devil tells you to bad things.

However, what about the story where God tells Abraham to kill Isaac as a sacrifice to him? Killing your children is obviously an evil act, however, the bible says that God approved of Abraham because Abraham was willing to do it when God told him to. This story seems to completely invalidate the idea that God would not tell people to do evil things.

This question illustrates a major problem with the Christian belief system. Luckily, there is an easy solution to the problem - just admit Christianity is a false religion and dump it in the trash bin of foolish and wrong ideas. This will solve A LOT of problems.

Take it even further....how do you know which god is speaking to you? If you experience god, how do you know which god you are experiencing? Do different gods feel differently? Do people only happen to feel the presence of the particular god of the particular religion they were raised in? Do those who have experienced god feel that others of different faiths are lying when they say they have felt their own god? Has any Christian ever felt the presence of another god besides the Abrahamic?

I know, I KNOW, because I know almighty God very well, and He often graciously speaks to me, and I often humbly pray a lot to Him,

and I know devil astute Satan also quite well as he very often shamelessly tries to tempt me showing me the glowing possibility of much fancy riches and of hot luscious babes.

I have often witnessed ferocious ever grinning Satan diligently being helped by his blunt nasty and monstrous helpers grabbing newly dead sinful people (even some that on this Earth were declared saints) and mercilessly hurling them down into the scorching flames of ever burning Hell for their perennial damnation,

and I have very very often experienced almighty God's glowing nearness in my own beautiful reveries about yonder Paradise with glorious Angels singing accompanying me on the utmost dazzling ever blissful path towards my own perennial beatitude.

An important question. Any information from an outside source (and isn't it all including from this forum, from outside) has to be vetted for consistency, for logic, for rationality, for the source. That is why silly questions in this forum about jumping off of buildings are just that silly.come to think of it internal info has to be vetted too. I had someone ask me once if I would believe that God didn't exist if he appeared to me and told me so. I replied that anyone appearing to me declaring their non existence has a credibility problem up front.

God's style is so polite and His voice is so sweet and full of
love that it can not be copied by the devil.

I still use my judgement to see if it agrees with His revealed
Word!

Usually it has no voice and is an idea put into mind thru an
angel called mulhim. Blessed are His ways.

"God" is a deaf mute entity, so it's not possible to ever hear him talk (not even in sign language). Ditto for the devil.

The devil speaks lies, though he may contain a shadow of the truth, anything that is contrary to the Word of God is of the devil. So you will know its of the devil if it doesn't match up with the Bible.

well, when the devil talks to me, he usually calls before he comes over. God just sort of shows up at my house but he always brings food. so that's cool of him. the devil just wants to talk and talk and talk, we drink some beer but he's kind of a downer. unless we're at a party, then he's the opposite.
