One of my neighbors always comes and asks me for things. I always give it to him if I have it, but my husband doesn't like him to much. Today he knocked on my door and asked if I would give him a ride and his granddaughter would watch my kids. No way I can do that so I just said my husband would not like that and he just said ok and left.

My question is should I tell my husband? It will make him really mad and I don't want trouble in my building. We are so close to moving and want things to stay calm till then. But my husband would also be mad if I didn't tell him.

What should I do?

I still owe 13 days. I have fasted 16 so far. It so sucks that I was not able to fast any of Ramadan. During Ramada I was so sick from the beginning of my pregnancy then I had a miscarriage. I think I can knock these last 13 days out with in the next couple months then go back to my regular Mon and Thurs fasting.

I have had people say the hijab and niqab or kufi and beard brings more attention and we should not do it. Well I don't understand this reasoning for 3 reasons.

1. We are supposed to look like Muslims.

2. The attention is dawah with out words

3. Sexual attention is what you are to avoid, regular attention is not forbidden.

I am not judging anyone I just don't understand why someone would think like that. If your in hijab or niqab your saying I am Muslim, and thats what we are supposed to be doing. No one will be looking at you sexually, that is the point.

I know they say it has to do with the saliva but what about this verse
"They ask thee what is lawful to them (as food): say: Lawful unto you are (all) things good and pure: and what you have taught your trained hunting animals (to catch) in the manner directed to you by Allah; eat what they catch for you but pronounce the name of Allah over it: and fear Allah; for Allah is swift in taking account. (Surah 5:5)

Trained hunting animals can only be dogs and Allah is saying w/e they catch is Halal so how can their saliva be considered unclean?

I know this is a really weird question, but growing up, none of my aunts or my mom called their husbands by their name, they always referred to them as "suno" or "sunye" lol (which is translated to "listen" in English.) Is this a cultural thing, or is it bad for a wife to call her husband by his name?

By the way, I am Pakistani.

Asslamualaikom!

Sudden death was a detested thing in Islam because it comes to a person all of a sudden and gives him no time (to repent), he might be doing something evil and so his life will end on such a state.

The righteous predecessors (the reverend Companions and their followers) used to fear the bad end of one's life with a great fear. Sahl At-Tusturi said:
The Siddiqun (truthful persons) used to fear the bad end of one's life in any move or at any moment and they were described by Allah in the Holy Qur'an as: ‘
'their hearts are full of fear' [Qur'an 23: 20]
The fear of the bad end (of one's life) should be present in front of one's eye in each and every moment for fear induces (the person) to work (i.e. do good deeds).
