My question is for Muslim Male or Female doctors, how do you deal if the patient of opposite gender comes to you? Especially if you are a male doc. and a female patient has come to you, how do you do her check-up and all.?

I think Allah has given a room to this, because the question of one's health comes in and one should keep their intention and thinking pious, rest Allah knows the best~!

But still I would like to know. Thanks :)

Assalaam Aylekuim

I live in England.. and it is generally good to be a Muslim here. In my city there are many Muslims and it is easy to practice Islam. There are many mosques and it is easy to buy Halal food.. Women are protected in hijab and we can take time off from /schools work for Eid.. And generally we have good relations with none Muslims.

We have small problems.. with the media that it is always printing lies about us.. and some pratice of Islam is too cultural and not pure Islam.. but that is about it.

What is is like praticing Islam in your country?

i once was a very concerned muslim...i made sure i prayed 5 times a day, and finished off each of my prayers with one readng of the Surah Yaseen...i say all the duas before doing everything, and for those which i did not know,i said Bismillah hir Rahimanir Rahim... but now i am partially neglecting, but i hate that i am doing so.. not that i dont pray at all, its just that if i miss my prayers, i dont feel that fear i used to feel before... please help me my brothers and sisters...help me strengthen my ties with my religion, my faith in Islam..i believe in Allah, but my fear for him is lessening, help me please..!

I know it is haram..to use birth controls.
But for someone like me who has 4 small children under 8 and works at the same time. It is veryyy hard to take care of the children with school, homework the little ones at home and everything, not to mention trying to raise them islamically and paying the high fees for islamic school.
Our problem is not financially as my husband and I both have good jobs Alhamdullillah but its rasing the kids, thats the hard part.
So we have decided to put it on hold for now...no more kids untill these four lil ones go to school InshaAllaah...for people with similar situations is that a sin?
I have asked an imam on a website and he said it should be fine. Allaah knows best.
what do you guys think?
I cant have the 11 kids my mom had. I'm not as strong as she was plus the environment in which she raised us was totally different and more peacefull.

I know Family planning is haram and is forbidden in Islam until and unless there is a harm to mother's life. But in China where there are many muslims too and They have this law of not having more than 1 child, what shall they do in this regard?

Secondly,if a mother is healthy enough to give birth to lets say 8 children, but they can look after 4 children in appropriate and better way, taking care of their clothes, education, food, shelter etc but not 8 because the money would not be sufficient and Family would not be able to live peacefully,as some sort of tensions and complex would take place as not EVERYONE IS GOOD AT THANKING ALLAH FOR WHATEVER HE HAS GIVEN TO THEM. [I say Alhumdolillah I'm really happy and thankful to him for whatever little he has given to me.] What shall be done in this case??? As I also believe that when Allah has given birth, then He is the one who will provide food and shelter!

I often get the urge to sleep after my lectures end (12:30PM every day) if I stay up very late the night before. I recall someone telling me that sleep is a valid reason for missing Salah, which I have my doubts about.

If one was to miss Salah for the purpose of sleep, are we allowed to make it up in Qada prayer?

I really am clueless as to whether she is Muslim or not. I will assume she is.
Why does she tell so many false things about Islam?
i.e. If a Muslim man marries a non Muslim woman then the marriage is not valid until the couple has sex. If they don't have sex on their wedding night without a just reason(the wife is on her period) then the marriage is nullified.

just one among SO many things she says that are not correct and false to a degree of dangerous levels. Not only does she claim they are truth she fails to EVER quote Quran or hadeeth.

That you love a non Muslim for the sake of Allah?
if yes please show proof

Reason I ask is because I have some friends in the Mall that are Jews and they are the kindest people I have met and we hang together and I love them for the sake of Allah and hope that Allah guides them to Islam.

So someone can explain if this is haram please and thanks!

My friend wants to revert to Islam alhamdullah :-))

But she has small problem with her name... Her family name (surname) is one that is unsuitible for Muslims...

I know that if you have name with bad meaning that you must change it, but also that you must keep your original family name (because it is connection with who you are)

Also her reversion is big shock to her family. She doesn't want to alienate them further by changing her name. And she is under 18 anyway, so can't do it legally without her father's permission anyway.

What should she do??
