I finished up to Surat Al Nissaa when I was 12 years old but then I stopped. I realized that I didn't understand anything of what I read. I started reading it again last year and I finished Surat Al Baqara but then I stopped again because I am a lazy person. I read random Suras (I mean not in the order they are written in the Quran) now although not very often.
I am planning on reading the whole Quran starting in January. By the begining of next Ramadan I would have finished it In Sha Allah and maybe I could start reading it for the second time.

As Salaamu Alaykum
I've only read the whole thing like once.
But I am busy memorizing it mostly.
But whenever I finish a Surah I always read the meaning in english. I do that because I do not want to be one of the ppl who learn the Qur'an & don't act upon it. It is a Hadith that says they will be thrown on their faces into the Hellfire. So it is nothing to play with. Always act upon what you learn. Insha Allah will protect us from being one of the ppl thrown on our faces into the Hellfire.
May Allah protect us, forgive us, & increase us in knowledge & make us act upon the what we know . . . Ameen.
Ma'a Salaamah

So, your 14 years old and you read the Quran in Arabic 3 times? It does not make a difference how many times you read it if you are not understanding and applying it..
How many surahs have you memorized? Or are you just reading it to say you have?
