And your God is One God; there is no God but He, the Gracious, the Merciful.
And when Our manifest Signs are recited unto them, the disbelievers say to the believers, 'Tell us, which of the two parties is better in respect of position and is more impressive in respect of companions?'
And follow not the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and overlook their annoying talk and put thy trust in Allah; for Allah is sufficient as a guardian.
Dost thou not know that Allah is He to Whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth? He punishes whom He pleases and forgives whom He pleases, and Allah has power over all things.

I will never, ever accept the fundamental beliefs of the Shee'ah. Six years ago, I was still an atheist and when I began considering Islaam I examined the books of both groups. The Sunnis are historically and factually the correct group and alhamdu lillaah I accepted the correct practice of Islaam. However, as has been said here some of the Sunnis on this board have been personally abusive to some of the Shee'ah here, and some of the Shee'ah here have been personally abusive to some of the Sunnis here. Nobody has the right to do that and people are deserving of justice no matter what their religion is. So I am happy to see what you have said here. I will respond in kind and hope others will do the same as well.

Just put aside these differences altogether, since this will only weaken the Muslim Community as a whole.
We are all brothers and sisters in one faith. and its haram for us to shed blood of another brother. Haram for us to dishonour one another. Please remember in The Prophet's Farewell Sermon during The Wida Hajj.
That is who we are. Not Sunni, not Shiaa. But One People. One Nation.
Peace, Brothers. May Allah show us all to the right path. Aameeen

Yes, we should accept their stereotypes (but don't follow it and make it a culture in our religion if its lead us to MURTAD).
And they should also accept ours.
Just one thing, lets spread this fact, WE'RE ISLAM.! Then Shiaah and Sunni muslims wouldn't have any intersection to argue about.

Sunni Muslims? Shia Muslims? where are the Muslims?
-Follow one Quran
-Believe in oneness of Allah
-Muhammad (p.b.u.h.) is Allah's last messenger.
-The only creed of Muslims is " La ilaha Illallah Muhammadur Rasulallah" and no addition with Fatimatuz zohra... something like that.
-We can die for every Sahabi
-We can die for Any messenger
-We offer 5 times a day.
-We do not place any stone or something under the forehead in Sajdah.
-And we break our fast with the Magrib prayer. not a second before not a second later.
If this is all you follow you are a Sunni Muslim, The Only Truth of Being a Muslim~!~!~!~!
Understand this first, rest is crap~!
EDIT: As for Non-muslims, I want to add or would like to make myself more clear by saying,What is the main identification of a muslim or how are we recognized as a muslim? only by our creed and the other factors I have mentioned in my answer. If a person follows those factors and still call himself or herself Shia, I don't mind, they can call them whatever they want. but if they are not following the BASICS to be known as a muslim, we cannot say that they are Muslims. As far as calling anyone directly Kaafir even when they are following the mentioned factors, would be really wrong and is strictly forbidden. Infact Our Faith and Iman comes at a risk when we call the other person, Kaafir! Hope you got me now :)

a point i have broght up as well.
If youre going to think that I "believe the quran is incomplete" or believe "Allah made a mistake" or believe "temporary marriage is acceptable" the non muslims have every right to call us Muslims terrorists, think of us as belittling women, and wanting every jew and christian dead.
It is literally the same concept.

shia's arent muslim, just read what some of the greatest scolars say like Imam Abu Hanifa, Imam Shaf'i, and Imam Malaki
1)Imam Ash-Shafi'i: On one occasion Imam Shafi'i said concerning the Shi'a, "I have not seen among the heretics a people more famous for falsehood than the Raafidi* Shi'a." and on another occasion he said; "Narrate knowledge from everyone you meet except for the raafidi* Shi'a, because they invent ahadith and adopt them as part of their religion." (Minhaj as-Sunnah an-Nabawiyyah) *(Some Shi'a at the time of the Alid Imam Zayd ibn 'Ali demanded that he make a declaration of innocence (tabarra) from whoever disagreed with 'Ali's right to be Imam. When Zayd refused, they rejected him, and became known as the "raafida" or rejectors. Those who followed Imam Zayd became known as Zaydis, and have very little difference from mainstream Islam. The Raafidi evolved into the various Imami Shi'a sects, the largest of which is the Ithna 'Ashari.)
2) Imam Abu Hanifah: It is reported that often Imam Abu Hanifah used to repeat the following statement about the raafidi Shi'a; "Whoever doubts whether they are disbelievers has himself committed disbelief."
3) Imam Malik: Once when asked about the Rafidi Shi'a, Imam Malik said; "Do not speak to them or narrate from them, for surely they are liars." During one of Imam Malik's classes, it was mentioned that the Rafidi Shi'a curse the Sahaba. Imam Malik recited the verse, "Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah and those with him are harsh with the disbelievers and gentle among themselves. So that the disbelievers may become enraged with them." (48:29) He then said, "Whoever becomes enraged when the Sahaba are mentioned is the one about whom the verse speaks." (Tafseer al-Qurtubi)
