I must say that you are very brave to post a question like this on yahoo answers. I am sure you will get many answers from small minded idiots that know nothing about Muslims and Islam. I am a Muslim convert and I love the fact that Islam is a whole new way of life. What you eat, what you drink, what you wear, everything is part of Islam

My favorite part is that Islam speaks to both the heart, with its wonderful spirituality, and the head, with it's invincible logic and scientific facts that the human brain did not establish most of them as facts until recently. The Holy Quaran is God's greatest miracle gift to his most beloved creation.
Edit: Mimi, you're wrong. You can be ashamed of some Muslims because they sometimes reflect narrow mindedness and intolerence, But never be ashamed of Islam. Don't judge a book by its cover. Keep the faith.
Edit 2: You're not a member of that group, your a member of true islam. don't sit around feeling ashamed, do something, meet a lot of people from different cultures/religions and show them what a true Muslim is like. The more muslims who do that, the brighter the cover of the book will become (it's true colors). I don't want to turn this into a chatroom, I know how you feel, don't give in to that feeling. Good Luck.

The Joy of being a Muslim is one that cannot be simply explained in mere words.
The realisation that Allah is near, and the love that His Messenger Muhammad(saw) have for us all is quite apparent wwhen we follow his teaching with all our heart.
I know we are blessed when there is so much tranquility and serenity that is within our soul when all else in the world is in havoc and chaos. That is what comes from believe wholehearted in Allah saw. He will protect His own People.
That is the peace Allah has promise for us in this world, and the next, it would be even more then this.

Bismillah
As Salaamu Alaykum
Yes I love Islam. It is the only true religion in the sight of Allah.
Allah says:
"The only TRUE religion in the sight of Allah is Islam." Aali Imraan:19
So yes I love Islam because it is the only religion that will protect us from going to the Hellfire.
Allahuma Atina fid Dunyah hasanatan wa fil Akhirati Hasanatan wa kina Adhaban Nar . . .Ameen.
(Oh Allah give us good in this world, and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the Fire.)
(Sorry if my transliteration is off.)

Alhamdulillah, Islam is a great gift for all of us.
About Whoo!- just be patient with her. She's a14 yr old girl whose been brainwashed against Muslims and esp. against Arabs. She's looking to invade the Ramadan section, so please all of you, kill her with kindness and prove her wrong.
EDIT to Mimi- Ever heard of a representative sample? Good grief! 20 people on an internet board represents 1.2 billion Muslims???
