I descend from the Percy Family of England, which years ago was one of the most powerful families in England. They had titles and everything, until Thomas Percy tried blowing up James I in the Gunpowder Plot and the Percies changes their name to Pierce and fled to America before they were all hunted down. I can prove I am a descendant of theirs, and it is easy, seeing as one of my great-grandparents had the name Pierce and could prove they were part of that same family with documents. Will the British government give me my family's titles back or not if I became a British citizen?

My friend doesn't have the best grades so the colleges that she can attend are a bit limited and the one that she wants to go to (a csu) is made up of mostly whites and she brings it up a lot, she's worried that people are gonna look at her and that face that she's black. (um, she's always telling me how she wishes she were white (she's half, but looks mostly black) but I always tell her nothing is wrong with her, she's always looking up pics of blonde hair blue eyed celebs and all that stuff) What should I tell her? I've never really had that problem.

In all of it's history christianity has gladly approved of and engaged in activities that killed humdreds of millions of people, but it has never permitted of any sexual activity not approved through "marriage" even though this is one of the most common human activites and the christian prohibition of all sexual activities are violated wholesale.

When leaving a friend i was told "Ya-teh-hay" (i spelled that phonetically, seen as i don't know how it is spelled.) They wouldn't tell me what it meant. They grew up on a reservation in one of the Dakotas, if i new which one this would be easier.

any ideas (preferably anyone who speaks either language)

she lived her life by looking for the Jesus in everyone... and that some day maybe she would actually meet him.

She thoroughly believed that Christ was going to return almost any minute and held fast to the idea that He could be just about anyone.

so isn't it possible that the next person you meet is actually Christ? He obviosly can't claim to be so but he might just BE it.

Similarily... isn't it possible that maybe he skims through this forum on a regular basis? or at least a couple times?

Seriosly... watch what you all say on here or anywhere to anyone.

i'm not talking about an annoying dislike for it. does it make your life miserable in some ways?

i'm an 18 year old male and about 5'7. i really can't stand it though. tall guys are seen as "more capable", smarter, stronger, etc. i can't tell you how many times i've heard from girls (who are shorter than me) that they have a "minimum requirement" when it comes to height for guys

i hate going out into work or town or somewhere and only coming up to the shoulders of most men. i feel like a little kid hanging out with grownups or something. it's just embarrassing.

i wish i were more secure about my height. my sister is only 4'11 and she's the most secure person i know....but i think it's probably easier for her since she's a girl and she can still pick from any guy she wants. but a lot of girls will eliminate a guy who isn't tall enough (ie "i want someone TALL, dark & handsome). i don't mean to generalize. just stating honest observations

What do those who blindly support Israel have to say about this video? A video in which soldiers burst into a house, see an old man sitting down and shoot at him, see the man's wife run out to him and shoot her, then shoot a mother and young children. No reason, literally, no reason. What do those who are so blind they can't see what's in front of them have to say about this???

Are you a Good Samaritan? Umm...Probably not, since I'm not a Samaritan at all. They are an Arab / Semitic population in the Middle East.

Which one of the Churches in Revelation do you think you are? Umm.....None of them, since I'm not a resident of Asia Minor under Roman rule, the entire region is Muslim now and time travel isn't possible.

The historical and geographical ignorance of the Church is truly something to behold.

i believe in God and think that if you desire to practice magick it has to come from a very personal and loving relationship with God. i just dont know how to go about learning the art of magick. where do i start? is it all in books? how do i know what books i can trust?

i think only the person who practices it can decide to use it for good or evil. i also believe that the bible was written by man and man put whatever they wanted into it and that is a reason it says magick is evil. it also says that women should serve men. and we all know thats not true. lol so please dont leave me answers if is going to be bible talk. these are my beliefs and i dont ask that u agree with them but please respect them.
