In developing countries, how can you go about achieving your goals when you are unable to provide bribe, or have someone who can influence your having a job or being employed?

I think I understand what you are saying. From what I understand children in those countries have no access to education. Even if they did they have to work (perhaps at US owned factories with poor conditions? But that's more speculations). Therefore, saying "study hard" is an empty phrase. (Heck, I think it often is here in the US, but that's a different tangent.)

(I just lost my train of thought...)

However, this question might be better posed and answered in a sociology or social science category. (I think there is one like that here on Answers.)
