Ok, I understand the UK laws have rightly changed in favour for the disabled and we see wheelchair access everywhere.
Also I believe if a diabled person wants to use any facilitie and cannot due to the fact there is no access to it for his/her disabilitie he/she is entitled to sue.

BUT........(you knew it was coming) you have to agree having to put wheelchair access at Heliports which supply a dedicated Taxi service as shuch to Offshore installations is insane?
Is this a law soon to be abused?

I used to think that communication with the deceased was impossible and a bunch of rubbish that gypsies, new agers, and other false faiths believed in...but then I came across I Samuel 28, where Saul consults a Medium who conjures up the spirit of Samuel for him. Samuel, a prohet of God, was clearly called back, albeit by unholy means. So fellow Christians, I am curious, what do you believe about "speaking with the deceased"?

I am curious as to whether this is meant to apply solely to interactions with fellow members of the faith or in interacting with people of other faiths as well?

the words of the Bible has been changed to fit the desire of those who wrote it, look how each writer is trying to twist this verse to his own believe Matthew 19:17

first, it's very abvious Jesus has seperated himself from being God, God and Jesus are two different thing.
King James Version, Matthew 19:17
17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

2nd writer didn't like how this Verse showing God and Jesus are two different thing, so he has to write it differently than the king James version to make Jesus appear as he is God:
New American Bible:
17 He answered him, "Why do you ask me about the good? There is only One who is good. If you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments."

amazing! Isn't this suppose to be the Bible of God or the Bible of people?

I am a female in my twenties and can't go through a single day in my life without feeling like a waste of space. I have a job (though I still live at home with my parents), but all I feel like is a failure. I often think to myself "Whats the point of me being here, I am terrible at everything and lack pretty much everything that is required in life to succeed!!".. I have never truly been good at anything and what usually comes soo simply to others takes me ages to grasp. I am afraid to express or say what I want to say and bring my point across because I don't want to be judged or looked down upon. I consider myself to be stupid and everyday I experience a blonde moment (usually more than one) I feel alone and unaccepted in the world. Everyone else seems to be succeeding and flourishing in their lives, all I seem to be doing is going further and further down the gutter. Life is soo unfair, I am an outcast with nothing to offer... Can anyone relate (even in the slightest of ways)???

I love to get into my nice cool bed on a hot summers day and have a snooze while everyone else is going about doing their daytime stuff. Sometimes I leave the radio on and the music features in my dreams and sometimes, as a treat, I'll flip the pillow over so that my face is on the cool side. Lovely jubbly!

We saw the Ark in the Alexander Allen museum of religious artefacts on main street Pine Bluff Virginia, and it just did not look old enough to be prehistoric, especially the allen bolts holdng the aluminum frames to the marine ply planks. Surely if this is a fake then the bible is fake to.

It amazes me that some people just delight in making rude, uncalled for comments to people asking questions. this can be hurtful. IF YOU CANT SAY SOMETHING NICE, OR DONT KNOW THE ANSWER THEN STAY QUIET AND SAY NOTHING AT ALL. Its not clever to be rude and smart, just ignorant.

With more than one hundred billion galaxies in the observable universe alone, I find it hard to believe not one other planet amongst them all is supporting life. I'm not talking about UFOs or anything, simply life on other planets. What is the Christian view on the possibility of alien life?

does doing tarot automatically imply some sort of spiritual force?

or couldn't it just be that you could use the cards as a way to help you think through situations in your life, with no spiritual aspects involved? kind of like a jump-start to get you thinking.

I invited a friend of mine out to my house for the weekend, however i didnt realise that she was bringing her dog, i have 2 dogs and they don't really get along with other new dogs too well. she is planning on making the 10 hour drive after she has worked all day and then plans to hang out saturday and sunday then drive home sunday night to be back for work monday afternoon. i think it is a waste of gas to drive that far for 36 hours just to turn around and go home. i am thinking of telling her not to come since that is such a waste of gas as much as i would like to see her i would rather see her for a longer period of time.
