I love to get into my nice cool bed on a hot summers day and have a snooze while everyone else is going about doing their daytime stuff. Sometimes I leave the radio on and the music features in my dreams and sometimes, as a treat, I'll flip the pillow over so that my face is on the cool side. Lovely jubbly!

The sweetest little situ's that make it all worthwhile is when a child smiles or says thank you without a second thought.
I do hate it when I give someting to my nephews and my sisters says 'say thank you' , usually the look on their face is thanks enough for me. But the other day I was walking past a child sitting on the wall who had dropped their doll ( she was about 4) I picked it up and handed it to her. Without a second thought she said 'Thank you very much, really kind of you to help me', and off she toddled to her parents. My heart melted, what a polite delightful little girl. Now that makes it all worthwhile

I have to go with Nathan there - we are immortal. We must not look at the body that eventually turns to dust. Consciousness always survives .... and so does the EGO which makes up our personality. However, the Ego where all the emotions are is subject to change and decay. The more it shrinks the higher the spiritual level the consciousness can achieve and then moves on to a higher plane.

Awwww... the simple little things in life are the best.....
They say if you can get a drink of clean water, hang your cloths in a wardrobe and refrigerate your food you are 75% richer than the rest of the world.

Finding the love of Christ in your heart, finding someone who loves you as much as you love them, a warm summer breeze, the beauty of the trees in the Springtime, the sound of the ocean, the white clouds against a beautiful blue sky, a lovely melody, deer and squirrels feeding and playing, I could go on and on.

Actually working with children. I used to be a Track Coach for a youth team and it was one of the most fufilling times of my life. Of course they got on my nerves from time to time but I still miss it.
