You could ask Baron Ali, the Brit MP this question and, also, Irshad Manji, the Iranian Lesbian Activist in Canada.
Incidentally, they hung two young gays in Iran recently, for being gay.
Cheers!

if there is a muslim guy that is a gay, doesn't mean that he is kicked out from Islam. It will be a very big sin. But that people's sin can still be forgive if he really regret of what he did, he didn't do that again and if he really become a good guy after that or disabuse. means he don't do anything that Islam don't told to do like be a gay and do everything that Islam told.

Of course there are gay Muslims and they are not kicked for the same reason any non-muslim would not be kicked out of his religion.
Homosexuality is prohibited in all major religions and all of them have their share of homosexual people. In Islamic countries too, like anywhere else, some people frown upon them and others are tolerant of them to the extent that they would be willing to befriend them.
I belong to the latter; I am a Muslim and I have acquaintances who lean one way or the other. It's their lives and it is between them, their body and God. I am not here to pronounce decrees and neither is anyone else!
Cheers & peace.

Yes there are ppl who identify themselves as both muslim and gay. Some live in the closet. Some move to other countries, but you can still find them 'underground' in Saudi Arabia. Look up Homosexuality in Saudi Arabia on wikipedia
And seriously, how do you kick somebody out of Islam? If anything they kick themselves out --we don't have a church that can excommunicate you.

Freddie Mercury was a gay Muslim.
Of course there are gay Muslims! Many choose to leave their religion. Still many others choose to live in free, Western countries.

yes i am sure there are gay muslims but they don't show themselves. and they aren't kicked out of the religion unless they make it very clear that they disbelieve in God. it just God hates homosexual, he destory a whole village because the people of this village like to have sex with other men, that's the village of prophet Lut.

The Muslim culture is very different than Western culture. In the Middled East sex for men is an act of power and domination. Therefore, a man having sex with one of the same sex would be an expression of his superiority. A Muslim man acting this way would not see himself as a homosexual but just a dominant male. Homosexuality is much more common in the Middle East than in Western culture, especially pedophilia.
Even in cases of heterosexual sex when a woman is raped it is often she who is charged punished and imprisoned because it is the womans fault for enticing the man to do what is only natural.

Yes, there are a few gay muslims but they can't be 'kicked out' of Islam. No one can 'kick someone out' of any religion.
