It amazes me that some people just delight in making rude, uncalled for comments to people asking questions. this can be hurtful. IF YOU CANT SAY SOMETHING NICE, OR DONT KNOW THE ANSWER THEN STAY QUIET AND SAY NOTHING AT ALL. Its not clever to be rude and smart, just ignorant.

Yes,,,I absolutely agree with you! They are ignorant AND hurtful. People that have their own self-inadaquacy issues often resort to this behavior to give them a false sence of being better than somone.

You are certainly right, that some people here in particular is not nice or rude in manners when they spotted your question as if from a 3rd grader or retard.
Well this is the complex world we live in, some people are smarter than others. Yet they escape with impunity when they boost about it.
People are not originally smart, some gain their respective smartness by reading or just sleeping in the library per se, but none hold the monopoly in smart contest since everybody is capable of being smart too, well not for a short period of time, since our brain is like also the body it needs exercise everyday if possible, just like the body who just sit around and doing nothing, the brain if done so will also be idle and lifeless.
If you are amaze finding people like these around, I am not. They are not nice to be with. They have mental problems too, personally but showing how smart they are, they are masking their real identity. I think we should pity them not be amaze finding one.

Well, this depends whether you actually mean 'rude and hurtful' or just 'tactless = rude and hurtful' (Google 'Asperger's Syndrome')
I mean, when you were little, you guessed if teacher asked you a question, right?
It might be the same thing here.
Now, I never know whether I'm being nice or not and to be honest with you, I stopped caring a long, long time ago.

I agree with everything you said, I mean genuine people on here want genuine answers but wherever you go you will get those that don't contribute anything and find it funny to hurt others. I just wish that people would think before they say because it would spare a lot of unecessary grief.

Look, when someone tells you "If you don't know the answer, don't ask" he's an idiot. For a few reasons:
1. If you knew it all, you wouldn't need to ask questions at all
2. You should always ask, because if you don't you'll never get to know :D
3. All those who seem arogant and try to proove thy're smart, are complete idiots. Avoid them in large arcs.
