You need Faith in God to be saved, Faith in yourself means nothing since you can do nothing on your own, Can you even take your next breath on your own? No it is a gift of God!
Faith is a gift from God! That will get you saved but if you want more, If you want to move mountains, Faith alone is not enough, You need prayer and fasting!
