so my final question: how many of you are or have ever been in multi-faith relationships? and how does/did that work out for you?

goodnight all

I was a JW and met a non-believer and falling in love with him made me realise I didn't need religion, so I left my faith. But prior to my realising that things still worked OK, but had anyone realised I had feelings for a non-beliver I would have been kicked out.
In my humble opinion, true love is worth more than religion.

Not me. I married a woman with the same faith as I. And I'm tired too, but I can't go to bed until 8 am when I get off work. Pleasant dreams!

The Bible says:
2Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

This says it all, and yes I have been around and dated long time ago with people who believed differant than me and it didn't work out. I have seen to many marriages go down the drain as well. :(

Well, when I was Wiccan, I dated atheists and agnostics. When I was an atheist, I dated agnostics. Those didn't work out at ALL.

Now, I'm a Christian, and I'm married to an agnostic who was an atheist when we met. We do fine. I don't bring up religion unless he does first, I don't try to push him into becoming a Christian, and he tries to be respectful of my beliefs. As a matter of fact, he went to church with me on Easter, and is considering going back. He REALLY enjoyed it.

It's only 3:50am here.

I'm an atheist and my husband is an agnostic deist, so... it's not too tough living with him!
