I am asking this question because of something I saw on youtube yesterday. It was a video of someone saying a half Italian half Greek white supremacist wasn't really pure & white. He then said that the other non-Italian white supremacists probably called him a greasy wop when he left the room.

Some Christian parents let their children stay home while they go to church. Doesn't the bible say "Raise a Child up in the way that they should Go?"

Some might say its none of my business but this is getting our of control, we let our children run Free, then we wonder why our Daughters come home pregnant and we wonder why our Sons are in Jail. I have been in church all my life and i have seen many come to church but leave their child at home.

My Mom Drug me and my sister to church, lol, and i thank her for doing it because i still have God in my heart and now that im out of the house, i didn't depart from it, Im not boasting in myself but i saying that if we keep our children in church then they will not leave it and they will not be caught up in a lot of foolishness. God bless

Filioque means "and the son". The First Council of Constantinople in 381 were the first to elaborate on the origins of the Holy Spirit and added to the Nicene Creed the statement that the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father. The filique means that the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son. It was first used in Germany to combat the "Arian heresy" and was finally adopted by the Roman Catholic Church in 1014 when the Holy Roman Emperor Henry II came to Rome to be crowned. He was German and was shocked to discover that they did not use the filioque. The church at this stage was incredibly weak and needed his protection and so added it. It has remained apart of Catholic tradition ever since.

I presume it has incredible importance as it was one of the major reasons for the Great Schism between the East and West in 1054. How important is the filioque to the modern Christian and which interpretation do you hold correct?

As marx once said "illusionary happiness"!!! so What is the point in having such vague beliefs? People kill each other over things that they dont even know are real? People claim to be religious but then dont practice what they are meant to? plus what about the historical truths that we have found to actually be false, Ie our understanding of the world itself, I mean come on guys we used to think the world was flat and that was only a couple of hundred years ago. So if you have books and scrolls that are thousands of years old telling you how to live your life through what could essentially be fairy tales, how credible does that make religion? Answer Wisely, you may be shot down.

Galations 3:19-26

19 ¶ Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

20 Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.

21 ¶ Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.

22 But the Scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

23 ¶ But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterward be revealed.

24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

Why is it that people always want to spread lies about Islam? I have even seen so called "Muslims" saying things that are untrue. If you want to say something at least make sure it is accurate.

I am going to try and word my question very carefully, as this isnt an attempt to bait people.

What I want to know is, why is it that "homosexuality" (I'm sorry, I dont have a better term, it sounds so clinical) is more than simply one persons choices and lifestyle - it is a culture and a form of behaviour.

And I dont mean in the obvious way, that gays will obviously seek one another in places like gay nightclubs and all that to both link up and to avoid prejudice, I mean in individual behaviour.

Some people are born camp, and this doesnt always correllate to being gay, but other people as soon as they come out of the closet become raging queens. Obviously this is a generalisation - I have a lot of gay friends, some keep themselves to themselves and you woudlnt even know, some are desperate for it to be obvious.

I want to know why gay culture encapsulates that behaviour type, not only that, but embraces it - especially when it must cause such alienation from bigtos.

Most religions express that men are spiritually stronger than women. Inequality between men and women still exists in our modern society. Do you find that the spiritual difference contrasts how society is controlled ironic?

If so why?

Some of you know I haven't watched the news for over a year. It saddens me to see the state of the world & the way we treat our fellow humans. Its unbearable. When I watch what's going on out there, its like watching the world vomit from the pit of its stomach.

Do you believe we will always live with this madness? Is it part of the bigger picture? Or do you believe there will come a day when there are no wars?

Personally, I try to follow my head, as emotions come & go. Like a thermostat, if adjusted properly...they can be nice, but if not set right, they can make things downright miserable.
So, I try to use my head when I deal with people.
You?

If you were in a dining restaurant, someone that sits next to you start to light up a cigarette butt and puff it. Because of the pathetic smoke, you get an additional taste for your meals. What would you do then? Would you mind it or just ignore him?

Does God depend on the other elements of trinity like Jesus and the Holy Ghost?

i.e. can God still be One without the other elements of Trinity?

If your answer is yes, isnt it a blasphemy to assume that God depends on something to exist?

If your answer is no, why bother teaching the trinity?

Everyday I read repliers to language questions end stating that "it" is their mother language. Why do people assume that if one’s mother language is X the translation or text is correct? I am a writer and translator who speaks correctly seven languages besides, classical Greek, Latin & can transliterate several archaic languages yet I never write it’s my mother language. However, since several times askers chose incorrect answers before my correct one just because of the mother language statement, I wonder why so many in Answers automatically assume that because someone says it is their mother language the translation or text are correct. In Answers & Internet, I could write, if I wanted, that I am from Mars and it would not make my statements about this planet more reliable. Natives make grammar & spelling errors too. Should you choose answers on "mother language" basis without a fast background check? Wouldn´t checks at least prevent wrong choices and even worse results?
