offending someone. Gee this world is boring. You cannot even have a drink wihout somone being serious. The pubs are full of depressing people. People are not fun anymore. Compare this life to about 10-15 years ago as it was more lively back then and now this world is a bunch of serious people. How excieting, NOT. What are your thoughts?

If tommorow by some act of divine intervention all people in the US had to start all the way over from scratch( absolutely nothing), each person over the age of 18 with the exact same amount of money and education, how long do you think it would take society to reach the state it is currently in?

*everyone is a blank canvas (18 and over are educationally and financially equal), world history up until yesterday is still exactly the same, but no one has any memory of their personal history. everyone has the same amount of education, i.e all 18yr olds have highschool diploma, all 20 yr olds have associate degrees all 30yr olds have Masters degrees. so on and so forth you get what I mean. Every one is given the same amount of property & $100,000.
*everything is gone( as far as buildings and such, the divine entity is like a store everything you need, you have to get from her and she does not benefit from these sales so prices are moderate)

I couldn't believe it when I read this on Answers. In the church I went to in South Africa taking care of the environment was seen as a priority for Christians. Believers, how do you feel about this?

I think is delicious :-)

Shown below, is an actual letter that was sent to a bank by an 86 year old woman. The bank manager thought it amusing enough to have it published in the New York Times.

Dear Sir:

I am writing to thank you for bouncing my check with which I endeavoured to pay my plumber last month

By my calculations, three nanoseconds must have elapsed between his presenting the check and the arrival in my account of the funds needed to honor it.
I refer, of course, to the automatic monthly deposit of my entire pension, an arrangement which, I admit, has been in place for only eight years.

You are to be commended for seizing that brief window of opportunity, and also for debiting my account $30 by way of penalty for the inconvenience caused to your bank.

My thankfulness springs from the manner in which this incident has caused me to rethink my errant financial ways.

When science puts all other religions in the back foot, Islam stands firm when it comes to science and does acknowledge a lot of scientific facts.....

why is it so ????

e.g the recent discovery of a new solar system has been acknowledged by the Quran

in the Quran we have a phrase calling Allah The lord of the Worlds

isn't this enough to prove the truth

what is your view???

1400 yrs ago who got it right

Last night as I was falling asleep I began to see a circle of incredible patterns and colours. I heard myself think it's a collidascope and then about 10 minutes after heard myself think mandela. Now I know that there is some sort of circular pattern in Buddhism called something like a madella, I think it's used for meditation. But I have never studied or used these things.

Ok, so let me get this straight:
Christianity is the belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree?

With all of todays discoveries and scientific facts of how man has evolved throughout time, never has science once mentioned God's name for being responsible for creating life. So why do so many people believe in God and attend church still to this day? The facts are on the table, science is not fiction, the church is. Is believing in somethng that has been proven not true, make us liers?

Here is a statement that was made about Barack Obama:

--"The Rev. Robert Abbott, pastor of the Holy Trinity Baptist Church in Amityville, N.Y., said Obama connects with black audiences because of the preacher's style he uses when addressing them."--

What does Mr. Abbot mean by this? What is the "preacher's style"? Whatever it is, isn't Mr. Abbot using a stereotype of black audiences? Are black people supposed to be more likely than any other group to respond favorably to a "preacher's style"?

It is a shame that people don't realize what they are missing by not knowing Jesus. And how He blesses you with peace love and an understanding on what your purpose in life is.I feel sorry for people that miss out on this.I can explain it like this would you rather fly first class in an airplane or fly on the wing of a broken down piper cub.
