to be in unity with them.
It is a call of Chrsitians to be unified with others who claim Jesus has Lord.
HOw do you deal when they deliberately continue to take drugs, misrepresent the Bible... How do you follow God's request that we be in unity?
This was really killing me for a few months, I think, I have resolved it just interested in how other Christians manage this?

I am an Atheist, I am repeatedly shocked by some of the comments made about us Atheists. This idea that we don't care about other people, or that we are evil people who spread lies, or that we are somehow in denial, or that we hate theists, and many many others. I would like to try to address these.
We Atheists believe in freedom, above all. That all people have a right to their own opinions and that they will not be punished for them, such as with eternal damnation and the like. That people can all live together regardless of sexual orientation, personal interests, etc...
Very few of us Atheists genuinely dislike Religions as a whole. Just Fundamentalists who attempt to stamp on others beliefs and seem to despise all who disagree with them. I in fact have several very close friends who are Christians, we get along fine, they don't try to convert me, I don't try to convert them.
Please everyone say your reasons for disliking or distrusting Atheists and I will try to respond to them

I was hoping for some kind, godly counsel about how god forgives me and wants to help me, but the lady just started yelling, literally yelling, at me to repent. Then when I was like ok, she was like "what do you mean ok!?" It wasn't a good experience. The issue in question was smoking, not some heinous crime. Do you think that was the appropriate way for her to respond? I don't somehow imagine God would scream at me for making a mistake. Yes, I do believe in repentance and I know it means to turn from sin, and I want to repent and smoke no more, but there was a total lack of forgiveness or the idea that God would help me and loves me in spite of myself.

My partner lost her sister last year,and ever since she has been a really evil person,with her mouth.She see's a counciller every week for it,but im at my wits end. When she has a drink she turns in to this person i don't like.She gets really angry,and say's verbal things about me that really hurt me. I love her but don't like the person she's become. why do muslims attibute before its time science to a god in its Quran?
Given that may like Leonado da Vinchi came up with idea like the helicopter centuries before it was realised and other scientists have got the basic idea of things years even centuries before somone filled in the blanks to perfect the idea and claim the credit.
Plus often when an advanced people have come accross a primitive one the primitives thoguht them gods.
Why not attiubute the Quran science to somone who just creatively guessed it, (bit like in Star Trek in the 60s they predicted much of the scientiic reality today... ie things they just made up inspired people to actually make them for real... you would be amazed how many things from mobile phones to medical scanners and MP3s) or may have done advanced research or hypothesis.
Or go one further aliens shows them, passed themself off as a god and give the science to someone?
Makes a lot more sense then a god, and why one why not lots

God called prophets to the earth for the first 4000 years of the Earth's history. What if he were to call another? Additionally, throughout history those same prophets have been rejected by all but a few....including many people who claimed to be religious.
Would you pray about it? Would you reject him outright? Would you listen to his words?
Please don't give me "God couldn't or wouldn't do that". I don't think that we're in the position to tell him what he can and can't do.
Also assume that his teachings are consistent with the teachings of the Bible.
If he wrote his words down, wouldn't those words be just as divine as those that Moses wrote...only more applicable because they'd be to us in our time?
