A person can choose to do whatever he or she wants with a loved one's ashes. But no where is it written that it has to be a certain way or place.

Dear titimo,

i think the decision is up to the loved ones arranging the funeral. i have a friend who is a "super environmentalist" so she wants her ashes to go to the sea as "fish-food." Others perfer to keep ashes in urns, and others perfer not to be reduced to ashes but to be buried in a casket.

It's really up to the individuals making the arrangements. Hopefully they would be considerate of the ones who are most affected by the death.

Off course more important than what happens with our body when we die- is how we live our lives- and what happens to our soul.

Hope that helps. Kindly,

Nickster

It depends on the religion the deceased subscribe to. To me it makes no difference. The deceased is dead so does not matter what is done. Anyway it does not pollute the sea.

No.

Some people may prefer to do that though.

No. There is no rule or law that requires that.
