there is ONLY one who holds your breath and life in the palm of HIs hand... that is GOD... all else is witchcraft... and I would RUN to the ONE who rules the universe.... He parts Red Seas and raises the dead... one little witch doesn't concern Him in the least... especially one that He is trying woo with His everlasting love....

Dear god, what bleedin planet are half of you lot on. Surround yourself by mental mirrors? I'm sure that'll work a treat when some crazed freak comes at you with an axe.

"Huzzah, you're hatchet cannot harm me, my mental mirrors are like a shield of steel"!

It's just not gonna work is it.

And if you pray, make sure you don't close your eyes or you won't see her coming to stab you in the back.

Look, doesn't matter if she's catholic, islamic, christian, buddhist or a large marshmallow. Death threats are matters for the police, not god! Tell me, where exactly was god when the two airbus went steaming into the twin towers, i bet there was a good couple hundred people praying, and it didn't help them one jot.

Last time I looked, god doesn't come out the sky at the critical moment, take the knife from the murderers hand and save you.

I appreciate that you are religious (hence talking to a priest) and you probably don't fear death as your going to the big bingo hall in the sky, but there's no point in speeding up our time on this mortal earth. And lets be real, it's fine and dandy being up there in heaven, but what about your family stuck down here without you? How damn selfish is that!

I appreciate everyones religion but lets get a grip on reality here, tell the police before this escalates into a bigger problem.

It does beg the question though, what the hell did you do to her?

How awful for you, being on the receiving end of such bullying.

Here's what you can do: calm down, sit someplace where you feel safe, and take a few slow deep breaths to calm down. Then close your eyes and visualise you and yours surrounded by a wall of mirrors with the reflective side facing away from you. Know that this wall of mirrors is impregnable, that nothing harmful can get past it. Understand this about the wall of mirrors that protects you, it deflects any harm sent your way away from you, and neutralises it. The woman (who for all that she's a Catholic is no Christian) cannot harm you or yours, or anyone else.

Do this visualisation three days in a row, and no matter how angry you are with her, do not think of causing her harm, because deliberately causing harm to others is wrong. From what you describe, she has enough problems.

Know and remember this: at the end of the day, her threats are just words, she's just a bully, and she can have no power over you.

Yea, I agree if she's threatening to murder you, you better go to the police. Regarding her wish, you ought to work out whatever problem there is between you too. As a true Christian she should not be threatening you like that and should be forgiving. I wouldn't worry about it as if it's a curse or something. She has no authority to make such a curse. Although I do believe some people may work through the adversary (wolf in sheeps clothing). If that's the case you should stay close to God and He'll help you.

Statistical studies have shown that prayer has absolutely no effect. Do not be superstitious.

Howver, you can use the womans own stupidity against her. Buy a small voodoo doll and tell her you have had it shamanically cursed so that she will turn into a leper and lose all her limbs. The curse can only be undone by her swimming naked by moonlight in the Limpopo river singing "Misty". Then watch her run to the travel agents.

The effectiveness of prayer is only a belief that has never been proven. Religions give it merely as a form of hope. The thousands trapped in the Twin Towers prayed until the buildings collapsed. Their prayers unfortunately had no effect. If anyone threatens your life, you should tell the police. See if prayer helps this woman when they arrest her.

Yeah, you might want to investigate the seriousness of the murder threat first.

Second, it doesn't sound like this Catholic woman is truly a Christian (i.e. follower of Christ). So I think that's something I should clear up with you.

If you've done something to anger her, you should probably see if there's anything you can do to correct it.

I've always been a big fan of non-denominational churches, so you may want to check and see if there's one in your area. (I actually grew up Catholic myself).

So... yeah... start with the murder thing and then work your way down my list!

She sounds evil. If she is threatening you, praying that you die etc she has nothing to do with god. He will cast her out when she comes before him for her judgement. The bible says 'beware of people that claim to be of me.' She is definitely not acting in the spirit of god, and she will get her reckoning if she continues her life like this. Don't worry - she has no spiritual hold over you - but I suggest you go to the police if the threats continue.

if shes threaten to murder you then go to the police, but her praying wont doing anything because "God" is meant to love all and wouldnt just listen to her advise about who should live and die

She is relying on your superstion to generate fear, do you really think a good christian person would really pray for something bad to happen to another?

That goes against all the teachings of the Christian Church, whose members are taught to forgive others.

As for a specific "death" threat being made, then you can report it to the police.

The next time she says this, say to her you will pray to God to forgive her for bad ways.

Do you really think that some dumb@ss woman praying that you'll die will have any bearing on your life??

Stop worrying about these things and tell that cow you'll start a terror campaign against her family if she doesn't leave you alone. See how long it takes her God to save her then.
