Among the saints, Mary is the most "popular" by a huge margin.
St. Francis of Assisi is honored widely, among Catholics and non-Catholics alike, and even some who do not identify themselves with Christianity but admire his reverence for all creation; thus he is the "patron saint" of environmentalists.
Third would be a toss-up between St. Joseph, the husband of Mary and foster father of Jesus, or St. Anthony.
In addition to these, my own personal favorites include St. Therese of Lisieux, St. Clare of Assisi (my patron saint), and St. Augustine.

How could Satan not be considered a saint? He is the only one who has equal power with God, otherwise God would have shut him down a long time ago. Number 2 has to be Judas. Now that it has been discovered that Judas was the closest Apostle to Jesus and not a bad guy at all. Number 3 has to be St. Patrick, especially on March 17.

st peter, st paul and st padro(sp?) pio springs to mind. if i may add a fourth it would be st patrick, i am from ireland so he was pretty important and popular for me. st peter came first on account of him being the first pope and highly favoured by jesus. st paul being second for being so instruemental in the faith and padro pio for the many beautiful stories regarding him including my fathers devotion to him from being paralyzed on his entire left side......god bless.
