My husband was getting into going to Church recently and getting into it. Since we had a argument last night i called the pastor's wife (she is also a pastor too) and told her that i would like to set up a time to talk with her, cause i needed some help. He came in and told me that he wasn't going to go to church anymore because of that. (His mom, brother, sister goes there too) he said he didn't want everyone to be in his business. But the pastor won't say anything to anyone! He was calling me childish and immiture and he took my cell phone and hid it. He told me he was going to shut if off, because when we argue i called people and told them our problems (this is not true) this is the only time i have called anyone because of our arguments. I used to call my brother's wife when we were arguing for some advise, but that was a lone time ago. It's like he is bringing up the past........

We all have to protest about one thing or the other every once in a while. But when you come to it, what method do you choose?

Just curious, I am not religious by the way.
I just have been reading a lot of the Q's and A's from everyone.

How old are you?
Were you raised atheist, or in what faith were you raised?
If raised in a church, did you ever believe?
If yes, at what age did you decide there was no higher power?

Thanks

Why, atheists, are you more tolerant to Muslim, Buddhists, and any other religion. It seems to me that people feel that it's okay to criticize Christianity, but don't criticize other religions because they are more tolerant or accepting to them. I wish people would recognize that it's just as offensive when I hear people try to tear apart my religion, especially since 99% of the time their critisim is based on IGNORANCE.

Why do atheists always flame and push their beliefs on Christians? I'm completely open in this question, and am honestly curious as to why atheists feel the need to push their opinions on Christians. I'll just put it out there, I'm a Christian and pretty much everyone I know is Christian, too. My friends and family and I have never forced our beliefs on anyone, brought them up when they were irrelevant to the topic, or criticized anyone who disagreed with them; and I feel like I'm always having to defend what I believe to people who just have different opinions than me. Because I respect religious differences, I think it's rude that atheists criticize people for their faith. Are there some pushy, in-your-face Christians out there that make you feel like you need to do it back? I want honest, thoughtful, intelligent answers. No flaming and be respectful and courteous in your answers, please.

unfortunate because some of us women and girls who smoke are the nicest people you will ever meet. To bad you are missing out on a good thing. I have smoked cigarettes for a while now, and I do not sleep around.

Okay, I am a Christian and I do not believe in reincarnation. I have a friend who has been battling cancer for many years. Her doctors just told her that she probably only has three more years to live tops. My concern is that she is Lutheran and she says that in her religion she knows that she will be coming back to do this all over again. Now, I am Baptist and that is not our belief. I know as a believer in the Lord that reincarnation is not a possibility. But I do not know how to talk to her in a loving and supporting manner and get her to see the truth. I am worried about her salvation. I would like answers and opinions from Christians and non alike. Please, if you are not a believer of Christ, do not be mean. This is a very touchy subject for me as I care deeply for my friend!! If you cannot answer without being unbiased, please move on.
