Christian Baptism.
In Christian baptism, there should be two requirements before a person is baptized: (1) the person being baptized must have trusted in Jesus Christ as Savior, and (2) the person must understand what baptism signifies. If a person knows the Lord Jesus as Savior, understands that Christian baptism is a step of obedience in publicly proclaiming his faith in Christ, and desires to be baptized – then there is no reason to prevent the believer from being baptized. According to the Bible, Christian baptism is simply a step of obedience, a public proclamation of one’s faith in Christ alone for salvation. Christian baptism is important because it is a step of obedience – publicly declaring faith in Christ and commitment to Him, and identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection.

Depends on what steps they took when they accepted Him...if they hadn't already done so, they should give up their past life and ask forgiveness of themselves and for all they have had cause to feel wronged by, etc.,. wiping the slate clean for their"new" life to begin...

THEN, they should ask that they be filled with God's Holy Spirit to fill all the area's of their heart and soul of all that was swept clean, and ask that the Holy Spirit guide, teach, and use them within the Word and within their Life's walk as to "Truth"......

*There are no set rules as to when you receive the water baptism to seal your decision.....preferably before, but in many situations, a person is filled with the Holy Spirit BEFORE a baptism can be arranged....for example, you may be somewhere that there aren't any other Christian, in a war, in deep distress, etc.,. God honors all ways and times :)

When we accept Christ as our personal Saviour and fervently studied His word, the next step would be to be baptised and become part of the body of Christ.

It depends on what kind of Christ you've accepted. In some cases, you take a quick dip in a babtismal. In other cases, you might just get sprinkled. But then there's a whole variety of other Christs that don't want you to get babtised at all. Plus, you can't forget the Mormans.

This is like one of those math problems where you left out some important information. So it really has no solution until we know what version of Christian you plan to be.

Ask the people who convinced you that you had found Christ. They probably have a set of rules they'll want you to follow.

Seek out a church and let the people know you are a new believer. The will take you by the hand and show what to do next.

Who led you to turning your life to Jesus? Spend time with that person, or people and ask.

Pray for God's will for each step of your walk with Him. He will truly guide you.
