it is more likely to make the news than any other person of any race.

With out a trace, the CBS show, had an episode that dealt with this same kind of thing. Two kids a black boy and a white girl went missing. All but the black agent was assigned to work the case of the white girl and the media wouldnt cover the disapperence of the black boy. Why is that? Shouldnt everyones life be viewed as equal?

In Mark 15:34, just before he dies, Jesus says, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?"

Jesus is supposed to have never sinned, ever, right? He's not even capable of sin, right? Well, how is this not a sin?

God didn't forsake Jesus, did He? God loved Jesus as His Son, and only wanted Jesus to go redeem all the sinners, and then come back on up to Heaven. So when Jesus said He was forsaken, at the very least, this was a lie.

And think about the context! The Guy who has been claiming to be the Son of God saying He was forksaken by God? That will rattle your faith. So even beyond it being a lie, he could have made all those people think that God was the type to forsake you upon death.

Please don't respond just to say, "See, Christianity doesn't make any sense and Christians are all idiots." I want honest responses from Christians or people who seriously study this sort of thing.

What is it about man that requires him to have some kind of god? Long before the bible, gods were worshiped by huge numbers of people. What is this apparent need for a diety? Is it just knowing about our mortality and impending death?

What about the emotional (and physical) dangers of giving birth to an unwanted child and then having to give it away?

Before you tell me that abortion is physically dangerous, I think you should know that you are 12 times more likely to die during child birth than during an abortion.

Please don't bring in other points regarding the issue. Stay on track.

Seriously guys. think. Theism is not a religion, but it encompasses all religions with a deity. Atheism is the opposite of theism, so it's a super category [like theism is]. There are possible religions within atheism [Zen Buddhism, LaVeyan Satanism, etc.]..

Does it rally take that much thought to realize your comparing an essence to a thing?

My dream rests with my two sons. They were a dream I had almost given up on. Now my dream is to see them grown to good Catholic young men and to live my life in such a way that I may never reflect negatively on my Lord and Savior. What is your dream? Whatever it is do not let it die. Where would we be without our dreams?

"My feelings about men are the result of my experience. I have little sympathy for them. Like a Jew just released from Dachau, I watch the handsome young Nazi soldier fall writhing to the
ground with a bullet in his stomach and I look briefly and walk on. I don't even need to shrug. I simply don't care. What he
was, as a person, I mean, what his shames and yearnings were, simply don't matter." -- Marilyn French; The Women's Room

"If life is to survive on this planet, there must be a decontamination of the Earth. I think this will be accompanied by an evolutionary process that will result in a drastic reduction of the population of males." -- Mary Daly

Why are the masses still using archaic social tools such as the Bible or the Q'ran when improved tools already exist. Bear in mind, I'm not saying that those books don't have value, but since then we have developed much more valuable social philosophies that are taken as invalid just so we can promote the myth of faith. Why are we doing this?

I'm am truly against abortion! How can some countries even legalize it?! All countries have laws and punishments for killins. Isn't it abortion is killing too? This is hypocrisy! No matter what is the case or situation, abortion deals with lives of innocent LIVING things.

How can an INNOCENT and SINLESS child die by abortion because of the decisions of DEVIOUS and SINFUL people? Women who choose abortion are COWARDS because they cannot accept their responsibility. Life is full of choices and consequences. Whatever we choose to do, we need to accept the responsibility of our choices. They made the choice to have sex, therefore, they need to accept possible consequences like having a baby. There is no UNWANTED CHILD in God's eyes. Abortion is barbaric and makes human's status lower than animals and equates to Satan's evil. How can some societies/countries accept that? It's cruel and harsh because we are dealing with LIFE, INNOCENCE, MORALITY AND HUMAN CONSCIENCE.

I mean he is just another person that was choosen by a group of people to become the pope, it aint like he came down from the heavens saying he was the new god, and if that happen I bet you they would addore him more. Then again catholics treat the virgin mary like she was God instead of God being God. I dont know why. They also create saints like they were babies, every year they have a new one. Why is the pope more important than any other pperson, what if one of the popes became the anticrist, what if the pope is gay, what if the pope got married????I just dont get it.

If a Bible studies only section on Answers was created, would you stay out of this and just stick to R&S?

Personally, I would leave it alone- R&S is general enough for all of us to play, but it seems like the Christians really want their own little corner of answers- would it not be easier for them just to have their own section to battle it out in that we leave alone- and let them come and make easy targets of themselves by harassing US first?...

I think it would separate the Christians who actually want to just learn more about their book from those who want to have an insult free for all...

If there is a God woudn't we expect that we woudn't understand Him? I mean, if He's GOD, then He's by definition greater and higher than us. Yet, it seems a lot of people dismiss the possibility of His existence because it doesn't make sense to them. Why is that?
