My dream rests with my two sons. They were a dream I had almost given up on. Now my dream is to see them grown to good Catholic young men and to live my life in such a way that I may never reflect negatively on my Lord and Savior. What is your dream? Whatever it is do not let it die. Where would we be without our dreams?

I think our dreams change as we grow older. When I was younger I wanted to be a fighter pilot. Now I have since learned that I have this horrible fear of heights LOL. No jet planes for me.

But your dream for your sons is a wonderful one and a mothers prayers are the most powerful. So that is one I would never give up on!

I know from personal experience that my mother NEVER stops praying for me.

I got married at 20 and had my first child 2 weeks before my 1st anniversary and #2 son came 3 years later (I was 24) I had a lot of dreams before that. My MAIN dream was to marry a wonderful man and have 2 perfect children. That dream came true and I cherish it.

I stayed home with them and became a long term stay at home mom. During that time I lost MY identity and dreams.

My sons are now 25 and 22. They keep in close contact and we love each other very much. They have been out of the house now for 2 1/2 years. I have gone through major depression over this very topic. As of 5 weeks ago I am on the road to recovery as the doctor (with God's help) was able to come up with a "medication cocktail that actually worked for the first time in 2 1/2 years) and am beginning to dream again.

It is scary being my age and wondering what I want to do when I grow up. I used to want to be a painter - I am artistically inclined. I want to travel to europe (I have been to Norway). I want to have a career that challenges me and one that I truly enjoy. I want to do missions work (I have been to Haiti 2 times)

Thank you for making me think about how important dreams are. I had forgotten.

Funny you should mention dreams and children.

Both times my wife got pregnant I had dreams of little girls telling me that they were coming. (A few days later, my wife gave me the news that she was pregnant.) This happened both times. (It was very weird that I met the spirits of both my girls before we knew that my wife was pregnant.)

About two weeks ago I didn't 'talk' to any children during a dream, but my wife told me that she was expecting. I didn’t tell my wife because I didn’t speak to children like the previous times.
Well it’s been about a week and half now and my wife is late with her period. (O-boy…) Was my dream a sign? Is everything doing to be ok? We were not planning for another child so soon, but obviously if they come we would gladly accept them.

My real 'dream' (my goal) is very much like yours. To raise beautiful, God loving children that will prosper in life and share their love and happiness with the world. I believe that this goal is exactly where it should be. I think my wife and I are doing a good job with our children.

My personal goal in life (dream)if to start a school helping challenged children and orphaned children do well in school so that they could go into college and become productive individuals.

I want to have hundreds of children (everyone in my school) to have all the opportunities, love and guidance that my children and I enjoyed. It is this love that will help them in their lives and intern they will also share it with others.

I believe this dream is within me, getting the money to begin is my challenge.

God bless you and your endeavors.

I'm living my important dreams and the less important or superficial dreams have died. My biggest dream is for my family to stay together in spirit and for my children and grandchildren to grow up as good, moral, successful and Catholic people. This Sunday my granddaughter is serving Mass for the first time!

I totally agree. Without dreams life would be pretty sad. My dream is to be a famous writer. The Trixie Belden mysteries I read growing up gave me the inspiration.

I am still young, but I am working on my dream now. My dream or goal in life is to be successful...have a great job, a wonderful husband, and beautiful children. What could be better?

Some dreams I follow and some I let die, like the one where I am standing on a dock, dressed in flowing robes while nuns dance around and throw little pickles at me.
