after such a calm and possibly well rehearsed answer when asked if they were involved, what do you think?

Hi!

The fact that their 'media man' has said that the question never crossed their minds, I find VERY suspect!

EVERYONE knows that in cases such as these the parents and immediate family are ALWAYS first in line as suspects.

Ask any of the professionals i.e. Police, Psychologists etc.

OMHO they've definitely not been upfront about what went on that fateful night.

If they get Maddie back and return to the UK, I'll be interested to see what (if anything) the Social Services and/or Courts intend to do about their abandonment of that that poor little girl and the twins.

In a crime such as this the first people to look at are the parents. People can bash this idea if they want but history will prove me right... Susan Smith, and many others.
I think that the questions that need to be asked are why would these people leave a 3 yr old and 2 two year olds by themselves in a foriegn country in an unlocked room. And if it had been and abductor why did they not take the other kids. they would not have put up any fight either if their sister went willingly. I would want to take a hard look at the room and question everyone at the resturant the parents were supposed to be at and any taxi's they may have used. I would also seperate them and question them on exactly what they did that day and then compare stories and look for the contradictions.

I don't think they are involved, but I think they unwittingly are connected to the people that did it. Something to do with their profession that I have a huge hunch about and have right from the beginning. They are being punished for what they did literally, and I think someone took the law into their own hands here.
I do not say they deserve this and support them though

At first I would have said NO NO and again NO but after todays news conference I'm on the fence. Deep down though no I don't think so but perhaps they are a kind of couple that don't show their emotions. After all Why would they do it, What would they get out of it. They are both GP's and have too much to lose.

The fact that they left her unattended in a foreign country means they must share some of the responsibility, how much i wouldn't know. One thing i am sure of,is,the British police will know the way people react under these circumstances, and be watching them very closely.

I think it is very possible and should be fully investigated as it would have been had the incident occurred here. It seems logical to me that a good reason for them to be so inapppropriately in a restaurant is for them to be securing a watertight alibi.

I think I have an open mind on this but I what strikes me as strange is that there is something like over 2 millions pounds on offer as a reward and nobody, as far as we know, has tried to claim it.

They may not have planned it all or anything, but it does look like the girl has been kidnapped and they know a lot more about it than they are saying.

I think indirectly they are responsible! They've always "poo-pooed" the idea they are bad parents for leaving their children but I don't buy it. PLUS, I'm sorry but going to personally meet the Pope and then on to Spain on this whirlwind media tour doesn't cut it with me.

When ever my wife and I have been on Holiday we have NEVER left our children on their own. Our children now have children, and they are never left alone NO MATTER WHAT.
so to answer, Maddies parents are indirectly responsible. Having said that Our heart and thoghts go out to them. And we hope and pray she is found safe and well.
