If a Bible studies only section on Answers was created, would you stay out of this and just stick to R&S?
Personally, I would leave it alone- R&S is general enough for all of us to play, but it seems like the Christians really want their own little corner of answers- would it not be easier for them just to have their own section to battle it out in that we leave alone- and let them come and make easy targets of themselves by harassing US first?...
I think it would separate the Christians who actually want to just learn more about their book from those who want to have an insult free for all...

You're all right... nice as it would be to just get all the jerks in here so we can make fun of them without upsetting the whiners, I guess we would lose something... I just like the idea of watching them rip EACH OTHER apart rather than doing all the work... it would be SO fun to see a Catholic have it out with a Fundie... It would give the Christians a chance to annoy eachother and us to laugh at it... Just a thought- but if we weren't on R&S- they would just pick on other christians to display their ignorance to... the fundies are a great source of entertainment- but Its starting to get old... I want to see the CHRISTIANS irritated with Fundie Christians as much as we are... just a thought.

If they get one I think we should have an atheists only room just to see if the fundies would invade it like the do gay and lesbian rooms.

I would definitely stay out of a bible study section. I really only answer question that are directed at or are about Atheists or related things.
I don't get any pleasure in baiting believers, they have enough problems.
Well OK, occasionally if someone is truly idiotic I might get a bit snarky, but not often.

I was a religion (biblical studies) major in college, so I know more about the Bible (as do many atheists) than the majority of Christians. I'd probably go there just to challenge the literalists.

I think there should be one for all religions, a place where people can study their own religion in peace and get more into it.
There's a verse in the Quran I think that says "It doesn't matter that you're debating, it matters that you're debating the Quran"
Leave the R&S section alone though.

The bible is so confused that you'd never reach a consensus as to what the correct interpretation is.
Then you'd throw out anyone who did not agree with your interpretation (ie those who are not really christians), and the whole thing would implode.
Do you really want that?

Stay out of it. I'm truly not here to challenge Christians. That does happen to be a by-product however; Just by being free.

It's easy to see, you struggle within your own self. All you atheists take such a poetic stance on what you don't believe.
You make it a point to scream that you don't believe in God.
You don't want nothing to do with God, but yet you get on this site and that's all you can talk about, explain that. You have tried and failed. You will keep failing and falling down and struggling with your own enemy, Satan. You are playing a dangerous game and you will ultimately lose. But you don't have sense enough to see it, you want to be blind, deceived and downright ignorant, it's your choice. If you don't want him that's up to you, but I've just put him on your answer page, and you better watch out, us God fearing people ain't going nowhere. We will shout, sing, pray and pick up the sword of the spirit of God until he comes, like it or not. If I have offended you, GOOD.

Notice they want YA to conform, in some way, to their desires.
No. They can go to Yahoo groups like everyone else. There are lots of places that are christian chat rooms. Stop being spoiled little babies and leave YA alone.

I'm opposed to the majority of the religions in the world, so this is where I belong. The Christians just happen to enter the line of fire more often.
