If you mean a "THIN G " it is light particles are known to be the fatest .because any body moving increase in mass , the mass that the moving particle of light acquires sets a limit on its speed and this is 180000 miles per second .If there is any body that is lighter than light it can move faster than light .Light is the lightest and perhaps that is why it is termed as "light " as nothng else is lighter than it .
If you do not refer to a "thing" , it is thought that is faster than anything else in the universe .
