It is a shame that people don't realize what they are missing by not knowing Jesus. And how He blesses you with peace love and an understanding on what your purpose in life is.I feel sorry for people that miss out on this.I can explain it like this would you rather fly first class in an airplane or fly on the wing of a broken down piper cub.

Following Jesus does feel wonderful doesn't it.
For a long time I thought that I was a christian, then I realized the Christianity with all of its judgment was almost the exact opposite if what Jesus taught and stood for.
I too realized that I had been hanging on to that wing of the piper cub way to long.
Love and blessings Don

I am sorry you had so many negative responses. I am a Christian that came to know Jesus in my mid-thirties. I am now fifty-seven, and I have no idea how I made it through the first half of my life. Broken wing of a Piper Cub? That would have been first class to me before I came to know the Lord. When I was a pagan, my mode of transportation was more like sitting on a skateboard and holding on to the tail of the devil, and wandering why the ride was so hideous. Not only are we going first class, we have reservations for the single most awesome dinner ever served, the Marriage Supper of the Lamb! See you there, Sister.

Dear Cindy :
You have heard from the HERD of atheist and "others" who do not see JESUS as THE SAVIOR.
They wish to discourage you and put you down for your sincere belief in GOD's provision for a fallen world >>> JESUS CHRIST.
IGNORE THEM
These are the "nay -sayers" who truly are not happy with their "religion" or lack there of. Their main goal here is to put down Christians and raise up whatever else is opposed.
Many of them are very ernest in their beliefs. Mainly because their relatives and culture compel them to conform to what they were born into.
I AGREE, it truly is a shame that so many are DECEIVED into believing that any OLDE PIPER CUB will get them into heaven. As a pilot of small aircraft I have never flown the BIG IRON and most likely never will. HOWEVER IN JESUS CHRIST I FLY FIRST CLASS ON AN INTERSTELLAR STAR SHIP.
JESUS BLESS YOU
IGNORE THE "NAY SAYERS"

There is more than just one religion that allows a person to feel the peace you speak of.
And to use your own comparison. All flights will bring you to the same destination, it is only the scenery along the way that will differ. I may not be flying first class on your jumbo jet but I am enjoying the ride on my broom just fine and not harming the environment in doing so.
Blessed Be )O(

Well, let me take the "shame" off of you. I am happy that with Jesus you feel you are first class,If your life is truly better, more power to you. I,however, don't feel sad and empty. I don't feel my life is a "broken down piper cub". I have peace,I have love, and I have given my life much purpose. I am sure this also applies to many an atheist. So you don't have to think "it's a shame" now that you have been informed that we are not "missing out"on anything. You can take the word of someone whose feelings you question,or you can decide,or let your pastor decide, how I feel. Personally, I would take the word of the person who you said was "missing out". You know, straight from the horse's mouth,as the saying goes.It wouldn't seem logical to let anyone other than the people decide how they feel. Thanks for your concern though. Let me ease your mind with one other bit. Whether you are Christian,Muslim,Atheist,Wicca, etc. ,NEVER waste your time wondering if you will "go to hell". I assure you,you will not

I'd been flying in the first class on almost all my business trip on first class airline.
However, I have not been fly on the wing of a broken down piper club. It's sound fun. I might be feeling like a SUPERMAN.
I think he is more capable them your Jesus for very sure. He had proved saved so many lifes , killed so many enemies of the people. If you count one apple to one apple , i think he is more hero than Jesus.
Please try again.
God bless you.

Those of us that live with and in Jesus understand what you are saying. We know what its like to have an emptiness that nothing else but God can fill.Do not let what others say make you doubt yur faith.God is real and no matter where you are if you believe and have faith he is with you.

1) You clearly are preaching
2) Many atheists have been on both sides too. I have, for one. I know from experience the inside may be warm and snuggly, but it's about as accurate as putting a half-timbered house slap bang in the middle of your first class aircraft.
3) I do not feel I am missing out on anything, so don't waste your pity feeling sorry for me. You could put it to better use.

You're equating the life of an unbeliever to a flight on a broken down plane? Well, you get props for originality - I've never heard that one before. You're telling me I need some invisible man to know what my purpose is. How many atheists do you actually know personally?
Further, if you're trying to convert people by telling them how empty their lives must be, how chaotic, hate-filled, and stupid they are, you're bound to fail. Don't bother.
