Far from being doomed, Christianity is booming across the world! Secular "intellectuals" have been predicting the "death of God" since the Enlightenment, and it hasn't happened yet nor will for the foreseeable future.

I don't think it is doomed. I think it is going to continue to change over time. I do think that the fringe fanatics who will not accept scientific evidence are doomed because they contradict themselves. Anyone who will not accept the role that science and reason plays in our modern lives is hiding in a particularly bad form of denial. They type on their computers which could never work if science was wrong about "what is the case', they eat their dinners under electric lights and will admit that they have little or no idea how these things really work, but suddenly become very knowing about genetics or the fossil record. That type of thinking is doomed, unless they continue to find a way to frighten one another into believing what could never be true. It is doomed unless they figure out a way to make millions from unthinking people. Whoops, maybe they will be around for a while, yet. Good luck.

have you ever been to church? what's so doom and gloom approximately Christianity? I propose, we are all sinners, yet Jesus sacrificed himself so as that we can be with Him continuously in paradise. Im tremendously confident neither Jesus nor paradise is gloomy. Are we death out? I dont think of so. in simple terms simply by fact there are loud people who prefer to take morals out of each little thing, doesnt propose some human beings nevertheless have our head on rapidly. we are nevertheless the biggest faith.

Because much of it will end, as such, when the Rapture occurs. That which remains of it on earth, after that, will finish the job as newer Christians end up becoming Tribulation Saints.

The GOOD news: Being a Christian isn't a "religion." It's a relationship. And one that will become eternal.

The question assumes that there is merely one unified body or concept referred to as "Christianity."
Actually it depends on what you mean by the term, (apologies to any who might be a student of mine, but I'm going to use my brackets), [Christianity].

The simple fact of everything, all of life, and all we believe to be constants, is quiet the opposite; "all is impermanent." The world and eveything in it is in a perpetual state of flux.

It isn't. When did Nietzsche say God was dead? Oh yeah, almost a hundred and fifty years ago.

And what has happened? Christianity continues to grow.

Doomed? Couldn't be farther from the truth.
