dna yourself for gene's that are susceptible to bi-polar and group tendency's (anglo's seem to have a large compressed gene bag full of disease prone gene's. If you can't afford the test I would recommend turkey or some type of meat that your body won't be harmed by cholesterol Bad kind and that is balanced with both good and bad cholesterol. Before that though I would try heavy protein Quinoa soy of oriental type's (hundred's) and all the other protein rich green plant's, that are not commonly used in america but which are good for protein. I hope you succeed

I'm willing to bet there is a reason they don't eat meat then. I was suspected of having a mild form of bipolar (I have Asperger's though) and cutting all meat but chicken has greatly reduced my anxiety and outbursts. My body feels better than it did too, except I have even more trouble with my anemia now. Cutting or lowering the amount of corn, white bread, and white flour products I eat has also helped tremendously. Much of my former moodiness was related to how crummy my body feels when I eat things I have intolerances for and/or am allergic and sensitive to.

Well I went vegetarian and all organic a while back which has helped tremendously in coping with Bipolar disorder. I have been unmedicated for well over a year and my doctors are impressed with how well I've been doing. I'm sure this won't work for everyone and but refining your diet should help someone with a mood/emotional disorder. Chemistry is chemistry, bipolar is about managing it and coping with it.

The only way eating meat will cure bipolar disorder is if someone slipped your medication into it. See your psychologist regularly and always do what he/she says and you can live a mostly normal life.

No. A bipolar disorder isn't due to dietary deficiencies.
