The hymn pretty much speaks for itself. It is praise to the prophet, called of God to spread the gospel to the earth in this last dispensation of time. The wording in verse two is "plead unto heaven" while the earth lauds his fame. The original words were changed some time ago. We worship Jesus Christ, not Joseph Smith. We praise what Joseph was able to do while he was here, just as we praise John the Baptist for his short ministry, or Isaiah, or Moses, or Abraham in their respective time periods. There is nothing wrong with that. He is joined in heaven with the other prophets worthy servants of God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ.

Song 108
Jehovah’s Word Is Faithful
(Joshua 23:14)
1. Just as the rain that falls from the heavens
Causes the earth to bring forth its yield,
So is the word Jehovah has spoken;
It will succeed, yes, its truth be revealed.
2. Joshua told the nation of Israel
How God’s great goodness to them was shown.
Of all the things Jehovah had promised,
None met with failure; his pow’r he made known.
3. Our God once showed to heirs of the promise
How his unchangeable word is sure.
‘By my own self, I swear,’ said Jehovah.
This gives us hope like an anchor secure.
4. We can be sure of what God has told us.
His righteous promise will find success.
In the new order he is preparing,
We’ll praise Jehovah for his faithfulness.

"This is Jehovah's Day," song 195. I heard it played at a District Convention when the new songbook was first published, and fell in love with it instantly.
PS. Danny Haszard is an apostate who has filled the internet with his rantings against Jehovah's Witnesses. No wonder his comment is beyond silly.

#29 Forward You Witnesses, the 1st Kingdom Melody I ever memorized.
I have difficulty w/ #15 and #102 b/c I heard them @ the funeral of an older brother when I was little and they are painful reminders of our mortality...
PS:Scotty, it probably isn't wise to ask a sincere question like that aimed for your brothers & sisters on Y!A specifically b/c there are a multitude of people with nothing better 2 do than hurl insults and the like from the safety of their PCs.

You sound sweet and innocent with a nice question like that but remember, not everyone is who they say they are! Caution is needed.
#88 - The Prayer of God's Servant. (beautiful)
