people of that religion feel........its terrorists but not the muslims.......and its a powerful and great religion...we are all god's children.

When I am hurt by others, I turn the other cheek. I strive to be selfless and pray for forgiveness when I fail. Every day I suffer and my prayers are never answered. All I want is love. Everyday I see the way to be loved is to be someone I don't want to be. (Abusive, controlling, egotistical, self centered) I am none of those things and I can't bring myself to be like everyone else. If God is merciful, why won't he help me at the very least cope with my dispear. Everyday I wake up with the fealing that God wants me to be something horrible, and I'm being punished for my resistance. What should I do?

I heared once somewhere in the bible that if u r Gods child u will not cross paths with evil, he will protect u . If God is all good and all powerful, why wouldn't he protect a child from abuse, a woman from rape, or anyone from murder? If a PERSON stood by and allowed any of these to happen WHEN IT WAS IN HIS/HER POWER TO STOP IT, we would call that person immoral. Why do we let God off the hook? Harold Kushner (When Bad Things Happen To Good People) says God is good but he can't do everything. In the Book of Job, God sent/permitted all kinds of suffering for Job just to win a bet with Satan, then when Job asked why he was made to suffer, God told Job, basically, he wasn't qualified to ask the question. (Sheesh!) What gives?
