I am not understanding why you people think muslim religion negetivily....although i am hindu i know how bad?

well personally I am against this belief that Islam isnt good. people who think so are ignorant n political. they are not true believers. Just as A hindu who slaughters a cow is not a hindu anymore a muslim who becomes a terrorist isnt a muslim anymore. the evil has no religion.
Islamic jehaad means fighting against the evils in ones own self and fighting against the evils outside. but that doesnt mean as most people conceive(including many muslims) that non muslims are kaafirs. Actually kaafir means someone who doesnt believe in God or Allah or goes against the path laid down by God. ( a kaafir is a terrorist n vice versa)soAllah is another name of God.
Jehaad is a beautiful concept that many wicked people have distorted and gave its name to terrorism. Such people must fear Allah.
Those who criticise other faiths and religion must fear God.Its hypocritical to say that we believe in God and criticise other religions at the same time.

Venkatesh you have seen Shirdi Sain Baba's story and u must be knowing how he says that God is one-"sabka maalik ek".Allah, Christ, Raama, Sain Baba,Nanak are all forms and names of one God who comes to earth according to diff circumstances and needs for welfare of mankind or sends his preaching.
Just as some not very well informed ppl criticise HINDUISM THINKING THAT CASTE BASED INJUSTICES ORIGINATE FROM HINDUISM(THOUGH ACTUALLY THEY ARE SOCIAL EVILS RESULTING FROM MANKINDS WEAKNESS) some people associate terrorism n other bad things with Islam without even knowing anything about Islamic philosophy. some people think that Christianity isnt good because they convert people but Jesus never talked about manipulating and converting other people through force and deciet.there are always people in each religion that cast a slur on that religion by thier activities. But religion is "truth" and can any one -ignorant or sinner taint it? NO

there are a lot of people who spread myths about Islam and some of them are ignorant muslims themselves. For eg a certain muslim told me very strange n illogical things about Islam but when i found out the truth it came out that he was talking nonsense. all that he said had nothing to do with Islamic philosophy at all


as per whatever little knowledge I have of Islam the philosophy is beautiful but misunderstood n even deliberately misinterpreted by some

personally the only thing I dont like about Islamic philosophy is that they allow slughter of animals. they say that its"halaal". a procedure whereby they give least pain to animal n can kill him only for the need of meat eating.But since I am a Hindu-I think that violence, taking others life etc cant be justified under any conditions. I dont agree with it because its opposed to Vedic principle of "ahimsa" and compassion n that God alone has the right to take somebody's life because only he can restore it back. but as long as they are following well the religion that God gave to them ie tht which they took birth in they shouldnt be accuse of being wrong.
But still I respect Islam because God has laid down all these different paths which we call religion and sects but God is the creator and master of all these and all lead to God.as they say-nothing exists or happens without Gods wish. Anyone who thinks that his religion or way alone is right or a path to reach God is a fool.

God has send us in different religions n also shown us different paths in our own religion(eg the saguna God and the nirguna bhrahmn in Hinduism for which also ppl fight forgetting that God is one n all his paths lead to the same God)because there is always a reason behind his will and that reason mustnt be mocked by people who are nothing before God who alone is the truth.He is all pervading and absolute and al powerful. we are not even twigs in his creation.

...I honestly don't know how good your english is, so I'll try to use smaller words (I'm not trying to be mean, your english is good in your question, but I know the language can be difficult sometimes, too).

Most people believe muslims are evil because of the media. They've pushed fear of a faith onto us. It IS a very powerful religion. In my opinion, I dislike it because of that. It's too... outward, from what I've read of it. I enjoy being an eclectic pagan. I don't have to try to convert anyone or die for my beliefs (unless the wrong person gets hold of me. Several single-god based religions are like that, though). ...I like being who and what I am.

In all honesty, I've found muslims to be more accepting as a whole. The muslims I've run into at the airport while I'm wearing my pentacles are curious and kind rather than some of the cross-wearing christians that snarl, scowl and shove me (not all, though. I had a very nice older woman inquire about why we use the 'devil's sign'. It wasn't rude, it was simply how she'd been brought up. After I explained the pentacle to her, she was smiling and thanked me for telling her the truth and so in-depth as well).

Any religion is portrayed good or bad based on the acts of its followers. When follower are doing bad acts and also claiming it as a religious act which is for the best of humanity,and so everybody condems them. Media portrayal is also important, as none far knows the truth behind the truth, they hear all from media. If too much negative message is portrayed there is no way the ignorant mass will ear to the truth.

Well we cant blame the whole for tiny baddies. One rotten apple is enough to spoil all other good ones. So is a single negative message can rot the whole greatness of any religion, provided they have bad name in their history.

Just as with Christianity, it depends on the Teacher and your particular "sect" of your Faith.....

The particular division of Muslim belief that has the world in an uproar is the one that puts all those whom have different beliefs in a category that they must eradicate them from the earth and being the suicide bomber gives them great power in the doing and in their afterlife. This mentality is like Hitler, though he himself was too cowardly to put himself in such a position to ask for death, he sent many to do it for him.

You make a mistake which could well prove fatal.

Islam is not, nor has it ever been a religion. The mere fact that Muhammad the fraud copied from the bible doesn't make islam a religion.

Their claim that 'Allah' is the same as God is utterly ridiculous. God would never call on his followers to kill non-muslims (which the quran does, repeatedly).

All religions are just organized superstition. Unfortunately, it doesn't stop there. Since religions really aren't based on anything real, they have to use emotional manipulation to keep people in the group. This means doing things that bond the group together and separate them from any similar outside group.

The way this translates in religion is, comraderie within the group and intolerence, distrust, and hatred towards those of other religions and those with no religion. That's why you get hostilities Christians hating Muslims, Muslims hating Hindus, Jews hating Muslims, Christian Protestants hating Christian Catholics, Muslim Sunnis hating Muslim Shiites, and so on. If you pick any two religions, it is a good chance you'll find a violent conflict between them.

This is yet another way that religion is harmful to society.

I like Yahweh's latest Message it shows that all the root religions are from Elohim (those who come from the sky) the religions have been understood and misunderstood and have been recorded by our primitive forefathers in their primitive understanding some added words and poetic flow to their books. But what that means is we are all ONE first and foremost before we choose a Label of faith for ourselves that we feel answers our questions. I like Yahweh's latest Message because it shows that there is a base of truth to the different religions which I can understand and yet i can step out side of the closed circle of each ones teaching and concentrate on what really matters, LOVE for all. WE ARE ONE Raelian love to you. PS,,, In direct regard to your question I believe what I can understand and search for the wisdom to understand what i can't. I search all religions but I am none why should love need a Label unless that Label includes all.

religion is as much a political tool as it is spiritual. i personally think that the muslims should make a strong decision as to where they belong. THey either are not too businness like - westren - capitalist NOR too spiritual - value ALL lives - live happily for that is all that you have an assumed control on!!!

People R judged on the basis of their average/ general demeanour & behaviour. Any religion , howsoever good in theory is bound to attract condemnation, if it produces deadly terrorists.Muslims R taught NOT to bother about the feelings of nonMuslims, then why R U worried about them ? Anyways,these R the last few days
of Islam on this planet.
