Praise and Harvest Sunday: "Let The Sunshine In"

1. LET THE SUNSHINE IN (Gen. 1:3-4)
2. We need the day, there may be dark times but the day carries you through.
3. We think it's always day light.
4. The value of our life is that everything always goes right but that we are at peace at all times.
5. The closer we get to Jesus the more beautiful we become.
6. God invites us to participate in His life (have fellowship with Him).
7. We will have unity if we all are following Jesus.
8. GOD IS LIGHT (John 1:5)
9. God is light. "This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God (the'-os: trinity) is (es-tee: to be) light (foce: spiritually pure, brilliant quality, delicate), and in him is no darkness at all." (John 1:5)
10. In God there is no darkness.
11. If light is always available you never have to be in darkness.

13. GOD IS GOOD (Ex. 34:6)
14. "And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abundant (rab: exceedingly greater) in goodness and truth" (Ex. 34:6)
15. If you don't believe God is good why are you serving Him?
16. We are "in" the family of God.
17. "He is exceedingly abundantly good."
18. AND HE CAN GET-R-DONE (Eph. 3:20)
19. "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly (ek: vehemently beyond measure) above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us" (Eph. 3:20)
20. The joy of the Lord is our strength.
21. The Lord will get it done.
22. He will direct your path.
23. Lean on the Lord.
24. AND WHEN HE SAYS IT... (Heb. 6:17)
25. "Wherein God, willing more abundantly (per-is-sot'-er-on: super added) to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath" (Heb. 6:17)

27. YOU'RE RICH (II Pet. 1:11)

29. We need to act like spoiled rich kids, God's kids.
30. Are we self-centered?
31. Are we prideful?
32. God has opened up the riches of His glory to us to share with others.
33. If we don't share it is wickedness.
34. Sow to the spirit reap the spirit, sow to the wind reap a whirl wind.

We don't go until 2:30, so I don't know yet. But I know the lesson for sunday school is called "Thy faith hath made thee whole". So it's probably going to be about the miracles Christ did while on the earth. I'm sure that our other meetings are going to be partly about the fire we had here this last week. We were all evacuated. It was a dandy time!! I'm sure they will go over some safety stuff, talk about what needs to happen in case anything like this happens again, and outline how the block safety line should work. I'm sure it will be great fun!!
